USA -(AmmoLand.com)- Democratic hopefuls squared off in the first primary debate over two days and they had plenty to say about the gun control plans they would enact if elected. Perhaps the most important take away from the two nights is that the candidates advocated or passively supported gun confiscation, rhetorically couched as gun buybacks.
Not a single one of the 20 candidates spoke in opposition to confiscation or the respect for the Second Amendment. So, the Democrats really are coming for your guns. The other key takeaway is that former Vice President Joe Biden believes the firearm industry is the enemy. In addition, nearly all candidates embrace a ban on modern sporting rifles and standard capacity magazines and instituting universal background checks. Biden would mandate that all firearms sold be equipped with unreliable biometric authorized user recognition technology, sometimes called smart guns. Lets recap what the candidates had to say about infringing on the Second Amendment.
DEBATE PART I
Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.): equated crimes with firearms to a health crisis, calling it a national health emergency, but ducked answering whether she supports confiscation proposals.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) said, I hear gunshots in my neighborhood, and proposed a national licensing program, requiring training standards. Sen. Booker also wants to restrict handguns sales to once per month. He claimed to MSNBC that the majority of Americans agree with his plans to require licensing and training standards to exercise American rights.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) tried to convince debate viewers that a forced buyback scheme to collect the more than 16 million privately-owned modern sporting rifles isnt confiscation as long as the government makes an offer.

Every last one of them want to either confiscate or make owning a firearm next to impossible.

One handgun a month? I can’t afford to have Booker in the White House.
The are no, pro American, democratic politicians anymore.
If we’re going to buy one gun a month, can we get a government subsidy?
Buy an American made gun today. Buy two.
This should motivate gun manufacturers to donate to Pres. Trump and Republicans for the election.
These are totalitarians, every one, and firearms are only one barrier they face in the program of achieving complete social control. They don't like free people, they don't like rural people, they don't like middle-class people all for the very same reason: we're all in their way.

Don’t take this sentiment by the left lightly folks- this is exactly how NY got through their unconstitutional ‘Safe Act’- by claiming “Imminent Need”- in other words- in their lying view- the situation of deaths by guns was so dire, so pressing, that they had to act immediately, without voter votes, in order to ‘protect NY’s citizens from further gun violence’, and therefore they didn’t need need approval from courts to ram this through in the middle of the night
Here’s what I want even one Democrat candidate to say:
Because of my opposition to guns, none of my bodyguards will be armed from this day forward. And I will not attend any event that has armed security.
Yes, but let’s look at logistics for a moment.
There are more firearms in the US than there are people. Most of them have been inherited and never been through any kind of federal or state background or processing of any kind.
If the feds pass laws to buy, they don’t have enough money to do it.
If they want to confiscate, they would have to do a house by house search and then do a yard by yard search looking for hidden weapons.
What the candidates are talking about is not going to happen no matter who is “in charge.” This is just going to mobilize firearms owners to kick democrats out of office.
> If were going to buy one gun a month, can we get a government subsidy <
Perhaps the government can come up with Gun Credits, kinda like Carbon Credits. So if I don’t buy a gun that month, I get a Gun Credit. Which I can sell to you. Then you can buy two guns that month.
There’s only one hitch. I’m not sure how this will affect Global Warming. So my idea is still a work in progress.
Does anyone really believe Cory Booker lives in a neighborhood where he hears constant gun shots?
Yeah, it looks like he knows how to maintain his "street cred", at least in Dem circles.

When government comes for the guns, bad things happen.
That’s OK.
I consider democrats to be the enemy, in return.
They’re a worse threat to this Country than anything else right now.
And should be dealt with as such.
The 20 dem candidates are hell-bent on destroying the USA.
