The inimitable Alexandria Ocasio Cortez really stepped in it when she likened detention centers at the border to "concentration camps."
"The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Monday night in an emotional Instagram live video. "They are concentration camps," she reiterated to her viewers, who flooded the feed with comments.This despite the fact that conditions are much improved over the previous administration and it was obama who build the cages for children. What's so often left out of the discussion is the fact that children are being protected more than detained in the facilities because they are frequently being rented by those seeking to enter the countrySitting in what appeared to be her apartment, the freshman congresswoman criticized the border facilities that currently house undocumented migrants who have crossed into the U.S. and are waiting to be processed. Images from the centers show some migrant children sleeping under foil blankets. Many are kept in small fenced-in areas; some are outdoors.
"I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that 'never again' means something," Ocasio-Cortez continued in her live video. "The fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the 'Home of the Free' is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it."
“Certainly I hope they stop coming because we probably will have more deaths as the hot weather continues,” says Cuellar. “It’s not just the heat that could kill them but there are other dangers. Officials at Lackland Air Force Base told us that one-third of young girls that come across – and they were just like little babies; 10, 11, 14 years of age. That about one third of them get raped and/or abused on the way here.”And many of the "families" trying to enter are fake:Cuellar says that as he was speaking to Customs and Border Patrol agents he was also discovering a disturbing trend of adults “renting” children in Central America in order to increase their chances of being able to stay in the U.S. once they cross over.
“I was talking to somebody that worked for Border Patrol, and he said that in the late 80’s there were a lot of kids from El Salvador coming in and what they were doing is they had a ‘rent-a-kid’ program.” says Cuellar “In other words they said ‘oh if I come in and I have a kid with me they’ll let me go.” And the Border Agent told him “Henry, I’m seeing this again, I cannot believe it.”
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - As an overwhelming number of migrant families reach the U.S.-Mexico border and strain the system, U.S. border officials said many of those families they are seeing are fake.You never hear AOC talk about either of these things. You also never hear of AOC nor any other liberal talk of the other concentration camps in the US- specifically in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.The conditions for those detained there are well, deplorable.The situation at the border has been called a “real crisis” by the Department of Homeland Security in a recent report. The department said the number of families coming across the border increased last year by 600 percent.
“Those large groups … they know our resources can't address the threats at the same time,” said Chief Border Patrol Agent Rodney Scott, with the San Diego Sector.
With the increase in families crossing the border comes an alarming rise in fake families -- where adults are accompanied by kids who aren’t really theirs.

When is someone going to call out the Demoturds and note the only time concentration camps were authorized by the US Government occurred during WWII, under the DEMS. Not only that, but many inprisoned were US Citizens, not some alien border crossers.

Maybe we should put the homeless in those “concentration camps” which are cleaner & better by far.
The illegals are being favored over American citizens for high-cost housing.
