Cheech and Chong were seen headed that way.

The town downwind had an enormous case of the munchies and couldn’t stop giggling about it.

Good. They are doing what they can to keep drugs out of the US.

For those who said making Pot legal would decrease drug traffic from Mexico.

13 square miles = 360,000,000 square feet. 25 years ago I heard one grow light can produce $500 worth of weed in a basement. 13 acres sounds more like 180,000,000,000 dollars worth of crops.

Actually given how Mexico works it was one cartel damaging the supply of another cartel to drive up prices for their crop.

Something straight out of the series Narco’s.

How can they compete with all the weed grown in the US? Apparently there are loads of folks who are starting a little personal grow operation. Once you figure out how to do it (not as easy as it may seem) you can make a personal stash and never need to buy it again.
13 square miles of grow??? hmmm

Mexican Federal police have discovered an enormous marijuana plantation just south of San Diego, 6 miles over the Mexican border Oh, they just "discovered" this? A pot field the size of a city and nobody knew about it??

My life seems to slow down
The further I go
Into the bare heart
Of old Mexico
Still I keep searching for someone
Who once let me in
But somehow I lost him
To the Mexican wind.
