Beto O'Rourke's campaign has fizzled to such an extent that he even had to play to an apparent town hall audience of ONE. The good news for Beto is that ol' PJ can get him a larger audience than has been appearing at his campaign events recently if he campaigns in Broward County, Florida. The venue would be Wings Plus in Coral Springs and my compensation for this would be an exclusive interview and a plate of wings.

But-but-but I thought when Robert Francis O’Rourke relaunched his campaign just a few weeks ago, all these lingering problems had been solved.
Guess that gaping hole in his credibility hadn’t been patched at all.
WHO expected any other outcome?
He might even jump on your table and flail his arms.....
I think part of the problem is that the type of people he’s trying to play to are busy playing video games in their moms’ basements and have no interest in political events.

Beta is an airhead. Just as bad as AOC.
Running for president when you are nothing but a clown has definite advantages.
1. You’ll never be president, and you’ll never have to govern a huge, complex country so you can keep imagining that you could have become president if you had just run a better campaign...
2. You have name recognition. You can run for some other office, or you can sell mugs. You can have someone write a book for you, put your name on it, and you’ll make a few bucks.
3. Many airhead females will fall at your feet. There are some who admire power.
4. You can go on talk shows where they are paying you for your face, not your intellect, but you think it’s because you’re an astute political commentator.
5. You get to keep the campaign money.

As a democrat, he’ll have more people vote for him than have heard of him. At least he’s got that going for him.

I was told that that signing means loser so with that signing up on his head he’s calling himself a loser - which just happened. Twice.

Yes, they get to keep any leftover campaign funds, but they can’t convert those funds, legally, to personal use. Many use their leftover $$ to support other candidates and make them beholden to themselves.
In Beto’s case, I’ve read/heard that his wife’s family is enormously wealthy so $ probably isn’t a factor. More likely it’s straight ego.
