New Mexico's new Democrat governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham is certainly making a name for herself after just 5 months in office -- if being an open-borders clown with tanking approval ratings is what she's after.
First, after President Trump deployed National Guard troops to the Mexican border to deal with a huge increase in illegal entries in January, she ordered them removed, calling it an "act of resistance":
Lujan Grisham withdrew 118 National Guard troops from the states southern boundary.
She said she did it to counter what she called Trumps charade of border fear-mongering, and as a protest against Trumps move to ban transgendered troops from the U.S. military.
Then, after drug smuggling increased by a staggering 1,700% in the 3 months thereafter -- leaving New Mexicans furious -- a stunned Grisham did a 180 -- begging Trump to send additional border personnel:
Lujan Grisham asked DHS to increase government personnel at the border and requested reimbursement for humanitarian assistance, among other resources.
She declares theres no crisis. She removes the National Guard, and now shes there asking for money, New Mexico GOP Chairman Steve Pearce mocked.
Now comes word that a Mexican national who climbed an 18-foot border fence fell off and died on the U.S. side.
And the leftist Governor is using the incident to be-clown herself once again -- blaming the U.S. government -- not the Mexican government or even the illegal alien himself -- for the death!
"We need more resources to protect us, and protect everyone else, and it's a clear -- once again -- failure of the Federal government."

Agreed! That’s a Great Fence!!!!
What an idiot.
“Beta test successful!”
LOL! :)
Is she white
Well maybe the illegal alien shouldnt have been climbing it in the first place.
I agree, it was there to keep people from falling.
I wouldn’t think you’d need a fence in NM since there are already so many dykes there.
Install a chute that transfers those who fall back to the Mexican side. Problem solved.
Darwin award for the climber please!
These people are abject failures, they took an oath to the constitution, instead they are wack job ideologues. Government is chock full of people who have absolutely no business anywhere near government.
I’m warming to the idea of a draft for government positions, coupled with the death penalty for malfeasance in office. That’s how some of the ancients did things. Government service was no big deal. Well, it might have been if they were crooks. But it was not a career.
The woman’s a Mexican.
Those are her people, she’s not American.
So of course she’s angry he got himself killed smuggling himself in. One less Serf for the Spanish Overlord class in New Mexico to exploit. If only she could bring back the Encomienda, boy that would be great. She could have her pedicures done for free by Maria the Galley Slave.
Don't know about her but there is one used-ta-be illegal alien border law violator that has a clear understanding of it now.
.
I don’t care if we have to rebuild the o!d East German death strip on the border !! Both parties have been acting in bad faith for decades & the shit needs to stop!
Wouldn’t have happened had it been electrified.
Hopefully the ground was not injured.
Yup. Gravity. It’s the law that always works.
Another one bites the dust.
Did he fall onto some bullits?
If he did, then the person/machine/force of nature/space aliens whom placed them there are complicit, if no bullits then it’s HIS fault.
Gravity never sleeps.
This skank governor represents the worst of what America has to offer. The bottom of the barrel dregs of society unfit to be in civil society anywhere.
Climbers should be able to climb near the top before the sensors deliver a real jolt.
