Sometimes an election is not about winning, its about just keeping the party base together for the next try. Kinda like Bob Dole. It is going to be more and more difficult to keep the democrats together as a party.
President Trump is manipulating this perfectly, as he now occupies the political center. Democrats can't go to the right of him, so they must go left, but that will drive centrist democrats away towards Trump.
That's all they've got and they keep beating that drum endlessly.
Socialism should be considered the same level of criminality as communism, which is illegal in the USA. Socialists deserve to swing from the same tree, sooner preferable than later.
Nance, not only is socialism the view of the Democrat Party, it's been your main selling point since Franklin Roosevelt: the forced redistribution of wealth!

And the generation of children who, being taught in their educational years that THEY will be the ones to change the US; that they are the HOPE and CHANGE we’ve been waiting for; that they are never wrong in whatever they think, do or say, are now being elected to Congress.
It appears that poltical election success is the latest form of “Participation Trophy” for the millennials.
