There's no question that animosity exists on both sides of the political spectrum, but have you noticed how personal it has become for many on the left?
It is disturbing how intolerant and filled with rage leftist extremists have become, and how many more people are falling into the category of leftist extremism.
But what concerns me as much as this pattern of ill will and abuse from leftists is that it is unchecked by their peers and often applauded. Instead of encouraging people to appeal to the better angels of their nature, they are beckoning them to summon their demons and become part of a mob mentality -- as if we're witnessing a replay of events that preceded the French Revolution.
It's unsettling that they rationalize their misbehavior as justified, even warranted. They've convinced themselves that conservatives' views are so noxious they've forfeited any expectation to be treated civilly and they deserve to be shunned, muzzled and boycotted -- especially members of minority groups who have strayed from the reservation. They are "garbage people," "deplorables" and subhumans who are not entitled to equal rights, let alone decent treatment.

I do not disagree with you at all.
But I will point out that the people were EAGER to elect DJT. There is a majority (at least at present) who WANT to fight back.
There are few champions.
What do you propose we on the right should compromise on? Infanticide? Gun bans? Speech codes? Open borders?
One reason that many (if not most) in the GOP resent Donald J. Trump is that he illustrates their weakness and timidity everyday. He is a stark contrast that exposes them for the servants of K Street that they are. The GOP represents those interests, not us.
There is no question who Trump represents. He fights for us every single day. Make no mistake about it, the GOP deeply resents that which they cannot control.
What are we going to do, shoot our own kids.?? It's our own fault we let it get to where we are now..
We need find the stones necessary to bring the stinking politicians, those who violate their oath of office, up on charges of sedition and even treason.. When they work day and night in an effort to subvert our constitution we need to take a heavy hand to those folks and bring law and order back in style..
ultimately, that's what it's all about.. Law and order.. :(

Yes, I don’t know if it is ‘required’ for writing that the hopefulness of what’s good in human nature will surface and stem the tide.
All clear-eyed thinking persons have already concluded there’s only one way to stop this.

IF that doesn’t happen...and happen soon, it can only end one way. It will be bad for the communist libs. It will be “bad em & tag em” time. The way it’s going, it’s only a matter of time where the point is reached where “law & order” denigrates to where one can get away without paying anymore taxes. Many hard-working folks have had their belly full of em. Once that slide is reached, there will be no stopping it.
Spot-on, especially that weakness invites aggression. Conservatives were duped into thinking we were one country united behind common causes and a shared heritage and commitment to freedom. No conservatives saw how the left was eating away at our foundation over decades...we continued to deceive ourselves these people were not an implacable enemy. We remained silent and didn’t fight back. We adopted their attitudes of “tolerance” which may have sounded nice in the beginning, but we are to the point where we are now forced to tolerate anything and everything.
Whenever the Left uses the term ‘compromise’ it means let’s do it our way. The GOP falls for it everytime.
Its time WE elect people on the basis of results instead of empty rhetoric and promises. I wish Trump would start a new party.

This is the history and legacy of the left with their communist and socialist “ideals”. People like Brennan could turn into a Himmler in about 30 seconds.
I recall studying the effects of Y2K in the event it actually happened. Big cities would be toast, period. Like you said, a power outage and they are gone.
Many do not realize the dependence city water, sewer and gas depends on electricity. Standby generators have enough fuel for typical emergencies such as storms. Not for long term.
Sewage, lack of food and medical care would kill many. Low lying areas would back up raw sewage into homes (no lift stations to pump it up hill). This would create a cross connection to whatever freshwater would be left, thus contaminating water with sewage.
Then the armed gangs and other’s turning into looters.
The list of things lost would include refrigeration, gasoline, food stores, and of course no one could buy a gun or ammo.
Literally speaking, it would not be a dog eat dog scenario, it would be a people eat dog, a dog eat people scenario.
This is what happens when they leave God out of their lives. Many go to church but are just acting. Then again, look at what so many “houses of worship” are pushing in lieu of the Word of God.
