Its fairly remarkable that Mother Theresa is now deemed hate speech.
How about if Twitter censors you it has to tell you why?
You mean,
“Your post has violated community standards.”
is not a valid reason?
Are you asking why Twitter does not have to tell you why it has censored you? I’m guessing it’s due to the new arrogance of the left. Most corporations run by lefties, don’t have much regard or respect for conservatives due to their school time indoctrinations.
Google has become that way too. Even PayPal has been known to ban certain conservative people from using their services (Lara Loomer).
These should be declared as utilities, open to all.
They rarely suffer any negative consequence for their bigotry. That may change as more conservatives learn to use the court system for their own bidding just as the Libs have always done.
Twitter is a liberal site that censors conservative speech.
Big deal.
Free Republic is a conservative site that censors liberal speech.
Thus I have an account on FR and I do not have an account on S#itter.
Stay on FR and avoid S#itter. Problem solved.
I never see an FR logo on marketing materials or storefronts. I see FB, Twitter, and Instagram, though.
They are adopted universal mediums of communication. FR is not.
I am not on Fakebook, Sh!tter, or Instacrap so therefore they are not universal.
I have never seen FR "censor" liberal speech. You can expect some strong push back and you're are expected to defend your position in a rational, civil manner but one can take a "liberal" position and debate it subject to those conditions. The is a big difference between FR and Democratic Underground in that the latter will immediately ban you if you take a conservative position on anything.
I agree with you. I have never seen FR censor people with dissenting opinions or ideas. Then again it’s about ‘Free Republic’ which you cannot have without he 1st and 2cd Amendments, in that order. Liberals don’t want a Republic.
There are a bunch of 2008 Giuliani supporters, and 2016 people who supported someone other than Trump in the primaries, who would disagree with that.
Your logic is faulty.
They are universal digital utilities, whether you wish to accept the fact or not.
Libs are objects of an immediate ZOT here on FR. Difference being Jim Robinson is upfront in telli g all that this is a conservative site. FB,Twitter etc claim to be open to all, and each is now part of the world communication network. But they lie and won’t ever admit their scio political biases control who posts.
Cruz’s question left Carlos Monje Jr. and Neil Potts, who work as public policy directors for Twitter and Facebook respectively, silent for 12 seconds before Monje Jr. spoke up to inform Cruz that, currently, the account, which belongs to the Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser, was in good standing as an advertiser with Twitter. However, Cruz quickly responded telling Monje Jr. that he was “very good at not answering questions.” When asked again, Monje Jr. did not answer yes or no, instead insisting that every tweet has context behind it.
I agree with you. I have never seen FR censor people with dissenting opinions or ideas.
Mother Teresa at 18.
You might want to take cover... LOL
You might wish to take a look at the notice on the Free Republic home page:
“Free Republic is a site dedicated to the concerns of traditional grassroots conservative activists. We’re here to discuss and advance our conservative causes in a more or less liberal-free environment. We’re not here to debate liberals. We do not want our pages filled with their arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile. Liberals, usurpers, and other assorted malcontents are considered unwelcome trolls on FR and their accounts and or posts will be summarily dismissed at the convenience of the site administrators.”
Not trying to make a big deal out of it - just speaking the truth.
Is that wrong?
