For Under $400 - These days you can browse the web and find tons of good quality .380 handguns for sale for under $400, but if youre not familiar with the market. You wont know which .380s are the best. The .380 has been known to have the ability to effectively stop an attacker yet small enough to comfortably carry for long periods.
Which makes it a popular choice for many concealed carriers. Without further adieu here are the top five .380 handguns under $400 for men and women.
Kahr CW3833 - This is a smooth double action .380, the offset barrel and ergonomic grips gives the shooter better control.
Walther PK380 - Designed for the concealed carrier that wants a small gun. With its slim grip its a good match for female carriers. Other features includes manual safety blocks, 3 dot polymer and an ambidextrous magazine release.
Beretta Pico .380 ACP - This Beretta is a double action, frame made of polymer, magazine holds 6 rounds. Designed for self-defense and deep concealment. Can be used for ankle carry and inside-the-waistband carry. Read the rest of best 380 pistol.
Love my Ruger LCP! Very easy to conceal, even when wearing a skirt or dress - the “girls” hide it perfectly yet can reach it easily. Carry it everyday.
The 232 should have shipped with two magazines. They can also be had over the internet, both by Sig and after-market.
Sig will service any weapon they ever produced. Often free.
I don’t think that’s true: FN Belgium went right into making really nice Hi-Powers as soon as the Allies chased the Germans away.
Maybe they didn’t take all of the tooling. Just what I heard from a gun nut I consider knowledgeable.
I worried that my priest might not like the idea of his parishioners being armed but then I found out that he had suggested it to one of the guys who, like me, was already carryint.
I had a great pocket holster - and liked it very much.
When my daughter bought a Taurus .380 (I have a Ruger .380),
she ‘borrowed’ the pocket holster to see how she would like
it.
I never got it back, but had it long enough to forget who made it. I would prefer my daughter to use it as she lives
closer to a downtown area and I worry.
(she also has a CCW purse, a “flash/bang” bra holster and
another holster she thought was ill-fitting (although she will use it).
Now I have been left with a pocket holster for my .380 that is/was the original one I bought for mine.
I use it, and it is supposed to fit a .380, but the other fit better.
The other (that my daughter borrowed) has an easier egress
as it is a fraction bit larger.
Thanks for the name - I will go check it out.
They made a 380???
Bersa all day !!!
I can conceal carry my S&W 380 body guard in my speedo
Ya know.... in case rhe beach gets rough
Yes, it came with two mags, but I’d like to have a couple more and the Sig mags are $100+ used. I could buy a new Bersa for the price of two mags. After-market pickings are slim and I’ve heard don’t fit well and unreliable.
If you can find Mec-Gar brand mags they will be the highest quality. In fact I think they make the factory mags for most of the big name brands including Sig-Sauer.
Check CDNN they have a good selection.
DeSantis makes the best pocket holsters.
I can’t find Mac-Gar, all discontinued or out-of-stock. The used ones are ~$100. The Sig brand mags I find, used, are like $130. I really love this pistol and wish they hadn’t discontinued it. Does one pump more money into it, or learn to love something else?
Maybe I’ll take my Langdon PX4 CC back to the range this weekend.
Actually they did, but the regular 9mm mak is very close in ballistics, bullet size and general performance as to be considered in the same class.
CC
Tried that once. But it was almost like cheating using those "alignment thingies" on the top. d;^)
YIKES!!
This thread is just fine without pics!! d;^)
Sig P238. As close to perfect as imaginable.
The Bersa Thunder 380. Thousands of rounds, gobbles everything.
Mine stove piped with that Winchester White Box .380.
Yeah, the phrase “P938 IS NOT APPROVED” is right there between “The Right of the People To Keep and Bear Arms” and “Shall Not Be Infringed” in the Second Amendment.
In about a Month the former Golden State of CA will be in Rear view Mirror. I've spent the last 60 Years of my Life here, but it's time to move on.
I prefer to cherish my God Given Freedoms, not hand them over to a bunch of Godless Bolsehevics.
