PLYMOUTH, Pa. — Twice a month, half a dozen men gather in Plymouth Meeting to help each other work through past traumas.
Their chosen method of healing? Cuddles.
It may seem odd, but members of the Men’s Therapeutic Cuddle Group say the practice has helped them cope with everything from childhood sexual abuse to the loss of family members when they were young.

Unless you’re a woman or at risk of freezing to death in the Arctic, there is no trauma that justifies cuddling with another man.
What ever happened to good old fashioned conversation?
I’m traveling to Texas for a week to help out an
old friend who’s recently gone thru some very

This is MY reaction when I read the Title.
This was a thing among high schoolers on the football team about 10 years ago. My husband was the only coach who kept telling them to knock it off. They’d laugh and say it bothered him only because he was homophonic (all the guys were straight). He assured them he stop all inappropriate touching no matter who was doing it. It was so weird and he just couldn’t understand it. They’d even cuddle in the huddle.
The only motorcycle hold that I engage in is when my knees are gripping the gas tank while tooling down the road on my Indian. That’s manly cuddling in my book.
Oh, give it a rest. It’s not like this soy boy crap is going to catch on with any man who can fill out a codpiece.
How long for feminists to decry this and demand for either their inclusion, or the dissolution of the group?
And for all here - what would you prefer the men in your life do? Brood silently and die early, whether by suicide or complete neglect for their life, or would you prefer they seek comfort and aid with other men that may have gone through the same thing?
Note: I’m not advocating “cuddling.” But men need more support groups like this.
Oftentimes, the abuser is a female family member/spouse. What man would want to risk opening himself up to that?
