The three key states for 2020 are PA, FL, and NC. All three states have seen significant voter registration trends TOWARD the GOP since 2016, when Trump won all 3 states.
FL = GOP net gain of 70,263 NC = GOP net gain of 168,288 PA = GOP net gain of 75,831
Much has been made of the change in FL law allowing felons to vote, however studies have shown that this would only net approximately 50,000 votes for the Dems. Trump won FL by 120,000 in 2016 and the GOP, as shown above, is in better shape as of today.
Ping.
I worry the felons may have tipped Florisa over to the blue column. What a disaster that was.

And $15 min wage is on the FL ballot in 2020
At risk of being a naysayer, but statistics can be made to say pretty much what ever you want. First, what point in 2016 does the change start. Presidential years always see a swing in registration. PA was seeing an increase in GOP throughout 2016 due to Trump. A better statistic would be the change since the election or Jan. 1, 2017. Its hard to believe but the idea persists that people think they have to be registered to vote in the party of the candidate they want to vote for, thus was the case in PA during 2016 and the case for the imposter in 2008. Second, why do we have a RAT governor and lost house seats in NC if the NET increase has been that much? That change is HUGE and would have twice the effect of the same change in the bigger state of FL and, to a lesser extent, PA.
I recently changed my registration from Independent to Republican. Pa. is a closed primary election state so if I remained an Independent I would not be able to vote in the Republican primary in 2020. President Trump will need my vote...
In 2016, I do think some pro Trump supporters didn’t vote because they thought he had no chance to win.
But, in 2020, they damn sure will vote.
Florida?
My family recently moved to FL and all registered GOP when we got our new state licences. Where do you get these stats?
Thanks Russ, Just moved to FL from PA last summer, so sad to see what they did with redistricting. Rothkus was my congressman. A good man but never had a chance. Go Trump.
Don’t forget the Puerto Rican refugees.....................
Factor in state elections for governor, house and senate
that may have influenced the registration stats in 2018.
They want Medicaid expansion on the ballot too. They are collecting signatures as we speak.
Unless harsh measures are taken to curb voter fraud, I fear this trend will mean nothing
Egad, I hope so. And in Yuge numbers.
It is the voter FRAUD totals which concern me.
Need to continue to strip voting rolls of illegals and the dead.
And $15 min wage is on the FL ballot in 2020
The Rats have perfected the tactic of getting initiatives that cause high Rat turnout on November ballots. In Michigan there were 4. Now we have a Rat Governor a Rat AG and a Rat SOS. The GOP could have forced them on to the August Primary ballot but as usual the GOP brought marshmallows to a gunfight.
Florida is getting Redder!
