Londo Mollari: When I said my quarters were cold, I did not mean, 'Oh, I think it's a little chilly in here, perhaps I'll throw a blanket on the bed.' No, I said it was cold, as in 'Oh, my left arm has snapped off like an icicle and shattered on the floor!' This is highly inappropriate, Captain!
Sheridan: [smirking] You're right. There are several other parts of your body I'd much rather see snapped off.
Yup, plenty more appendages to snap off and shatter.
He liked his Brivari.
Excellent post!
London Mollari... What a great, yet tragic, character from perhaps the best TV scifi series ever. To me, B5 and Firefly are in a class of their own.
Loved B5, and especially Londo Molari.
Absolutely agree. Though the last season the story kind of dragged on and I never got to see the final B5 movie.
For Firefly the only thing that I didn’t really like was when Wash was killed. Otherwise it was outstanding. River always reminded me of Leeloo from The Fifth Element movie.
Same here.
B5 is still the king of the mountain of TV sci-fi.
Firefly is just a few feet below.
Don’t forget the great Susan Ivanova.
And there was a sad story for the actress (Claudia Christian) in real life.
Its so cold ...

Very sad indeed.
Me and my wife always ran into her at Dragons. Always pleasant and talkative.
To me, a very likeable person when I met her face to face.
I love sci-fi but could never get into this show....i think it was the cast.
Never got why it is so popular..
So what happened to her?
Alcoholism? Drugs?
They had some great writers on Firefly.
After a particularly harrowing adventure Walsh says,
“Why, it’s like something out of science fiction!”
To which his wife replies, “Honey, we live in a space ship.”
Mostly alcohol, but some drugs in there too and some really bad relationship choices (if all the rumors were true). She has been pretty transparent about the alcoholism, but a little more circumspect about the other stuff.
Seems like a little of both but I am not sure.
Oddly enough I watched that very episode last night on Amazon Prime. But the main thrust of the episode was how their version of CNN distorts the news. Very like todayexcept the news distorted things to favor the president. (Season 4, Episode 8)
