What President Trump should say in his February 5 State of the Union Address
Enter Stage Right ^ | January 28, 2019 | Lester Jackson, PhD

This is the best chance a president has to reach [the American people], without his words being twisted beyond recognition by most who call themselves journalists.

I have done my best during the last two years to Make America Great Again. But ... it is “my duty to [portray] things as they are ….” Today, our Union is more divided than at any time since before and during the Civil War. While a significant number of Americans enthusiastically support my efforts, a true account of the state of the union must recognize the existence of extremist resistance to American greatness.

Because of the current internal war against American history, traditions and values, and especially against the United States Constitution, it would be inappropriate for me to deliver a standard State of the Union address providing a laundry list of proposals and boasting of my accomplishments, which can be found at whitehouse.gov.

Ever think that this is not the place to promote your blog. Money for nothing and advertising for free.

PERFECT place to promote your blog. That's how the Internet works. I know y'all blog police don't get that, but that's part of the whole thing. Your statement proves you have no clue. Unwanted blog promotion would be if he was spamming links in comments, not posting his content. Pull your head outta the past.

No your statement means you have no clue. Often times, they just post their little blurb and never even engage in conversation. He can take his blog and shove it. this site is not here to enrich him. If he wants his voice heard then post his entire screed. If not, then leave.

It's called protecting a copyright

He can take his blog and shove it.

Your opinion only. I thought it offered some things for thought.

this site is not here to enrich him.

No one ever said it was, but at the same time, no media outlet exists to enrich this site, either. Blurbs are common in posting here, again, due to copyright law. Some media outlets have even stopped the posting of their articles here so as not to enrich Free Republic.

If he wants his voice heard then post his entire screed. If not, then leave.

That's not your decision to make, and to think it is makes you quite the pretentious jerk.
