At this moment the race for the Democratic nomination in 2020 appears to be completely wide open, but there is one potential candidate lurking in the shadows that could change everything. For a moment, I would like you to imagine what a perfect presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2020 would look like. In this politically correct era, it would help if the candidate was a woman, and it would definitely be a plus if she could appeal to key groups of minority voters. Being a hero to the LGBT community would be important for any Democratic candidate, and it would also have to be someone that could bring together the “Sanders wing” and the “Clinton wing” of the party. But none of those things would really matter without national name recognition, and so a dream candidate for the Democrats would be someone that everybody already knows and that much of the nation already loves.

I’m late for the argument, but I think Trumps biggest opponent will be the weather.
Well he is trying to pass himself off as a minority. I’m sure the Democrats will accept that as truth after all they seem to think you can assume what ever gender you want, after thousands of year contrary to procreation same sex couples are normal, so you should be able to assume any race you want to be.

The national Democratic party is starting to resemble the Democratic party of New York City between 1994 and 2013 — twenty years during which Republican mayors ruled continually.
The problem for NY city Democrats at that time was that a conflict existed between Blacks and Hispanics vying for the Democratic Mayoralty nominations of that period. In addition, during the latter period, billionaire Republican Mike Bloomberg was able to buy his way into City Hall.
So here we go again on the national level. In 2020, Black and Hispanic Democratic presidential candidates will be leading their ethnic groups, creating a Black vs. Hispanic rivalry. And there will also be internal rivalries among multiple Black and Hispanic candidates. It could be the Crips vs. the Bloods vs. MS-13 from Iowa to the nomination.
And, of course, Mike Bloomberg and his billions seem interested entering the Democratic fray.
If so Trump wins 43 states.
Trump biggest threat is Trump. He needs to stop stabbing his base in the back, like the latest H-1B fiasco.
The Left is really good at compartmentalising.......especially the part about ‘sleeping her way to the top of the Dem Heap’.
Michelle might not do as bad as most of the other candidates if she "stood" for president, but she'd have to run, and she's not really up to it.
My guess is Joe Biden but also this Delaney guy from Maryland. Have heard him speak and he doesn’t sound as nutty as the rest of the Democrats.

In the end, this book tour and all of this promotion could simply be about making as much money as possible.
Basically, that is what it’s all about for any of them.
A chance to fund raise and get media attention.
Cash flow...Funds come in, funds go out but how much and
where??? Some of it ends up in the candidates pockets

O’Rourke is a minority. Irish-Americans are outnumbered by non-Irish Americans.

This month on TV, Tulsi Gabbard has presented the most likeable, common sense approach of any potential candidate.
I doubt she’ll go the distance. But she’ll go farther than Castro. Julian has too much baggage.

Not for nothing but Julian Castro has openly admitted that he doesn’t speak Spanish. He grew up in TX and apparently never spoke the language at home. Granted, his Mexican heritage is clear as day.
