I guess I'm here... I came to understand why and how you guys think the way you do. I'm extremely liberal and have a burning hatred for a good amount of the right, however I still want to contribute. I dislike being divided, I dislike any phobias that I know many of you have, and after reading some of the opinions on here I can honestly say that I see no good that can come from this website. The garbage spewed on here makes me want to puke. The clear disregard for political correctness and the way others may feel is so unimaginably disgusting to me that I doubt I can agree with anything being said here. I want to make clear that I'm not on this website to be absorbed into the alt-right echo-chamber that FreeRepublic is; I'm here to get a better understanding of how my fellow humans can be actively saying these things. I do not wish to cause any kind of drama, I just hope you guys can welcome my different viewpoints; If not I'll leave as soon as I came with the knowledge that this website is just a hate filled echo-chamber.

It’s the same thing as a non-Scientologist having a clear disregard for Scientology, so what’s the f-ing problem? If you’re suggesting that Political Correctness is an attribute of some kind of ideal thought process and belief system then we should all hope that you find the help you so desperately need. Our difference of opinion on government policy should not affect you mentally that much.
You love government and government programs? Seriously?
That is where we disagree. There is little that the government does that the private sector does not do better and for less money. (yeah I know- the military... let’s not get pedantic here)
For example, welfare- do you know that government KEEPS 70% of the money spent on welfare for itself? Churches and charities use to do that kind of work, keeping only 15% for ‘managing the program’.
And the money they do spend has serious waste and fraud problems. So instead of 85% efficiency, its more like 85% INEFFICIENT.
Now, apply that to almost every other government agency... (I’ve worked for many of them - i’ve seen the incredible waste)
On top of that they use your money and mine to buy votes. Do you approve of that?
They are against honest voting laws against vote fraud- do you approve of vote fraud?
The difference between conservative and liberal is NOT that we hate old people and want them to eat dog food, or want to reinstate slavery, it’s that we want as LITTLE government as possible, not as much as possible (which is the main goal of ‘progressives’)
Trump does not “hate immigrants”... what is the problem with them crossing AT THE ENTRY points?
So, shouldn’t your ‘hate’ go towards the people who have been lying to you?
