The tactics resemble those used in 2016 in Oregon during the Oregon Standoff protest led by Ammon Bundy. Spread fear of "extremism" and "violence", target people for harassment or arrest and put people into the protest who claim to support it but who are there to disrupt it.
An of course, militarize the police and create a "Red Dawn" occupation atmosphere. To underscore that armored vehicles are on the streets of Paris on Saturday.
While the culture of protest is different in France, the tactics of the government are the same.
On French television Friday night, the Prefect of Police in Paris said powerful stun grenades will be used that have injured protesters in previous demonstrations...

There are two links at the bottom you can use, one video and one text, to get more of what's happening in Paris and France today (Saturday).
No.
You can post the whole thing right here.
Why should anyone go to your blog to see a video you had nothing to do with?
Seems like a bit of theft, actually.
Shame on you.
If the yellow vests are to win, they have to be willing to uproot the whole government to the point of not even leaving stubble.
Macaroni will try to salvage what he can in order to leave a kernel to build upon for future subjugation.
Nice to know you prefer to keep paying leftists to lie to us.
This gov’t belief that a central group is pushing out ‘orders’ and manipulating people....might work on some past riot agendas. In this case, so far, there’s been no central group running the riots. The Macron-crew will look over this and find it complicated to aim police investigations.
Added to this, the student riots are attached to another Macron decision....bringing back the draft and forcing all 16-year-olds to participate in some national program (that announcement came out this week). Again, maybe the Macron-crew thinks there’s one central group planning the agenda....but no, this is a wide open development....all driven by pool planning within the Macron government.
I don’t understand why people don’t go to twitter and see it live from the streets. FR is the best place on the net but for international coverage right from the scene, you can’t beat twitter.
Student riots are about forcing hs kids to kneel with their hands on their heads yesterday.
They submitted a list of demands and met with govt yesterday. There pretty much is one central leader. There were 8 demands. The ones I can remember are 20% tax cut for middle class, France First, end all immigration, stop tax subsidies to the media. I probably have a few more in posts from last night.
They have today’s agenda spray painted around Paris.
At least for me, time.
I love what is happening in France and hope they can get rid of Macaroni, but I really only have to be informed by a well written article that summarizes the events of the day.
Now, the shoe is on the other foot. Macron is all in for the globalist agenda, and citizens are fed up. There's a real danger that anarchists take over the revolt and Macron gets too heavy handed. What's France going to do then? Bring in the Germans to quell the population?
So many questions, so much uncertainty. Could this happen in some places in the US?
It would be funny if you found one central slogan spray-painted....’Make France Great Again’ (MFGA).
“Could this happen in some places in the US?”
This could happen in any Democrat run city or state. This is because there are enough gimme-dat’s to elect a socialist leadership and because socialist leaders will “give ‘protester’s’ space to protest.” But conservatives don’t tend to go for violent protests, so you won’t see anything like what’s going on in France in a conservative run town or state. France is like a nation-sized Portland.
It would be written as F F G N, for Faire France grand nouveau.
Yeah.
And where do you think good ol' Bloggy McBlogface here got this material?
Did he jet over to France on Blogforce-1 and go to interviewing
people and making videos? Maybe he sent some of his interepid
staff over there to cover the proceedings?
No, he ripped this material off from the media and stuck it on his blog.
And apparently you somehow think this turns it into "good" material because it's on some lame blog.
Well, it isn't... it's the same stuff the MSM peddles, it's just been
stolen and had the serial numbers filed off in an attempt to re-sell it.
So now you know.
He’s doing more than you do to help sift through the lies.
More theft and bloggery, yes.
It is like the cliche that if you strike at the king, you had better succeed.
If Macron does not succeed with this, he is finished, and quickly.
“This Gov’t belief that a central group...”is planning and directing the protests, and that identifying and neutralizing this group “...might [have] work[ed] on some past riot agendas. In this case, so far, there’s been no central group running the riots. Macron will find it complicated to aim police investigations.”
No problem. They will just designate some protester or other as the ‘leader of the mob’, and blame him and anyone they can associate with him as ‘the conspirators and instigators,’ and use that as a reason to crack heads and arrest everyone they can get their hands on.
Besides, 2 points, this being Europe, there probably is someone, somewhere, planning and writing slogans and agendas and lists of demands, whether or not anyone is listening to them; and the Gov’t, being in the central planning and directing business itself, at least believes to the point of certainty that this is so. And the police will look for them until they find them, even if they have to create them. C’est le meme as the Mueller Special Prosecutor’s Probe.
All journalists steal, by your measure. Everybody takes information from central sources and rewrites the stories to fit the editorial position of their employer.
There is a big difference between a draft and military service. We had a far better military when healthy young men were subject to call up and this informed their decisions at seventeen. “National Service” is a far different animal. Being a ‘community activist’ is not akin to serving on an aircraft carrier or in an infantry regiment.
