Reuters just published this article about General Motors planning to close a plant in Ohio due to there being less demand for small cars.
Trump responded by saying:
“They better put something else in.”
It’s not the job of the President to tell private companies what products to make or how many kinds of products to make.
Shame on Trump for trying to give himself powers that are not authorized in the Constitution!
Is this satire?
How about a plant to develop a “wetback vac” that could patrol the border, sucking up illegals.
I don’t know what it is. And my Don’t Care meter is pegged.
Well, they can pay the US taxpayers back the billions hat Obama paid to bail them up and then I would agree with you.
Wrong! When GM took billions in taxpayer bailouts, and allowed Obama to shut down Republican owned dealerships, they gave up any right to complain!
But it's OK for Obama to tell Rick Wagoner, the CEO of GM, to resign.
“Its not the job of the President to tell private companies what products to make or how many kinds of products to make.”
They also arent supposed to take taxpayer bailouts.
But they did, so F them.
So why didn't you post that instead of involving your blog?
Obama’s Fault!
Trump’s job is to look out for America and Americans.
I’m over this strict ideology crap.
Here’s about 6 minutes of JFK talking about screwing an American plane manufacture for not doing what he wants. Pretty entertaining.

ALL presidents do it.
...or OK for Obama to restructure GM and screw the bondholders out of 90% of their investments in favor of his UAW buddies.
GM picked two plants in the Midwest to close in order to screw Trump in 2020.
Its not the job of the taxpayer to bail out failed companies, or subsidize non-competitive electric cars either, but here we are. GM wants to make cars in communist China, then a GM can pay the tariffs.
Also there are rumors the CEO was jawboned into this decision by Zero and other Rat honchos. Goals being to make these Midwest areas unlikely to go Trump in 2020.
If that’s true it seems stockholders might have some legal recourse available to them.
"I have no doubt that in the not too distant future, they'll put something else. They better put something else in."Shame on the blogger for intellectual dishonesty and for posting an opinion so utterly bereft of intelligent thought.
GM lost its right to be treated as a normal public company when it accepted taxpayer bailout money.
Now it has to serve the taxpayers just as much at it serves its shareholders.
Build the new Chevy Blazer there instead of Mexico.
Pay the moral obligation back.
And had millions of used cars destroyed...
UAW just sold out the CEO Mary Barra, saying the decision was made to anger swing state voters that voted for Trump in 2016 before the 2020 elections.
