Impatient to make her mark on US policy, newly elected Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is demanding a Party commitment to 100% renewable energy by 2030 as the price for her support of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) as House Speaker.
Apprised that 100% renewable energy would likely price most consumers out of the market, Ocasio-Cortez trotted out her personal catchphrase of just pay for it in response. The government can print as much money as is needed. Theres no reason why cost should any longer be a barrier to the implementation of the policies and programs required to create the workers paradise promised by Karl Marx.
Ocasio-Cortez hastened to reassure her followers that my pledge to vote for Pelosi as Speaker is just a temporary expedient. Like all members of the patrician class she will be liquidated when the time is right. Why not let her enjoy a last hurrah before we put her head in the noose?

So write a gummint check n’ git’cher’ apartment, ditz !
Old joke: hold out both hands. Put 100% renewable energy in one hand and crap in the other, see which one fills up first.
Serious question. Suppose this happens. The year is 2035. Our economy crashes due to socialist policies (see Venezuela). What do we do?
The 100% “renewable energy”, because it comes from highly unreliable sources, is a sure ticket to assure that what power is produced will be far less than the flow that will meet the needs of a modern industrial civilization. Not only that, it shall have to be rationed, and the cost of production shall be far greater than the utilities will be allowed to charge the individual consumer.
Which means, it will have to be heavily subsidized, and only certain parties may receive priority in delivery of that energy.
And when there ain’t no more, there ain’t no more.
Someone needs to give her a 51-50 test before she gets in real trouble.
Meh ping
Wow, what a great description.
