Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Don’t go away mad, Brenda Snipes, just…well, you know the rest. – In what is a loss from which the dimwitted people of Broward County who kept re-electing her will never recover, Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes submitted her formal resignation on Sunday. It is hard to understand what could have possibly motivated this action on Snipes’s part, given her stellar reputation and the fact that she had performed so well in her job for so many years.
Hah, hahahahahaha!!! Ok, I’m kidding. Seriously, is there anyone in America who needed firing more urgently than Brenda Snipes? I can’t think of a single person, other than perhaps the genius over at ABC who thought it was a great idea to do a reboot of “Roseanne” without Roseanne. There’s a person who needs firing. But other than him, it’s Brenda Snipes. No question.
Snipes, who is 75, expressed a desire to “spend more time with her family,” which is code for she is going to flee Broward County as quickly as possible in order to say one step ahead of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which has begun an investigation into all of her machinations related to this election. The grandkids aren’t going to be seeing a whole lot of MeeMaw in the near future.
Oh, hey, and execrable Democrat Senator Bill Nelson finally, at long last conceded his loss to Republican Rick Scott. With Snipes fleeing the coop, any chance of “finding” the additional 13,000 “votes” Nelson would have needed to end up winning fled with her. Nelson, who has apparently had more work done than Cher, will now have plenty of time to go get more hair plugs and another round of plastic surgery to help keep that Batman-villain smile pasted on his face.
So, the latest in a long line of efforts by Florida Democrats to steal an election is over, the main culprit is gone, and the doofuses in Broward County will have to election another crook to man the position. Because that’s what the Democrats in South Florida do.
Where have all the people gone? – Where the NFL is concerned, they’ve decided to spend their money on more patriotic pursuits.
After two seasons and change of players and even cheerleaders disrespecting the national anthem and flag, combined with a decidedly crappy on-the-field product, the National Football League is experiencing an attendance crisis. Note I did not say “ticket sales” crisis, because, thanks to myriad corporate sponsorships, the tickets are mostly all sold well in advance.
No, the growing problem for the NFL is that fewer and fewer fans are using those tickets, as evidenced by the half-empty stadiums all over the country yesterday. Unlike football at the collegiate and other levels of the game, where almost all tickets are purchased and used by individuals, the lack of fan attendance is not an end-game for the NFL, but a preview of things to come if the League doesn’t improve its product. Because as the tickets lose their fan appeal luster, the corporate sponsors will begin to look for other, more productive venues at which to target their sponsorship dollars.

Speaking of presidential tweets, about an hour after posting that little gem, the President had this to say about the Honduran “migrants” down in Tijuana:

The problem for Tijuana and Mexico is that there is a long line of previous applicants ahead of them, and the wait for a formal hearing will be months down the road.
So, yeah, the city is ill-prepared to handle such a massive invasion from the South, which is why the Mexican government should have ordered its military personnel to stop the fake caravan at its southern border. Sensing a crisis building as a crowd of 2,400 overwhelmingly military-aged males set up a tent city in one their city’s major parks, hundreds of Tijuana residents staged a protest on Sunday, one that ultimately turned into a minor riot that had to be broken up by local police.
Some of the protesters carried signs reading “No Caravan, No Invasion!”. This caused heads to explode all over CNN headquarters as all the fake journalists there scrambled to invent a narrative in which all of these Mexican citizens are racists.
It’s important to remember here – and President Trump does – that virtually none of these “migrants” are legitimate applicants for U.S. asylum. In fact, given that Mexico has already offered them asylum in that country, none of their applications will be legitimate under U.S. and international law.
These people are economic refugees – they openly admit to the few journalists who bother to ask that they want to enter the U.S. to find work and take advantage of our social welfare system. While Honduras does have gang problems, so do Chicago and Los Angeles and pretty much every other Democrat-run city in the United States. While we as Americans can feel empathy for these people and sad about their country’s lousy economic environment, we as a country have an absolute right to determine who does and does not get to enter our country. This particular mass of thousands who so openly wish to abuse our system and flout our laws does not deserve entry.
If the government of Mexico wishes to solve Tijuana’s problem, it should give these “migrants” one last chance to accept its generous offer of asylum there and put anyone who declines on the next train back to its Southern border. It’s time to stop the media-generated pretense that these scofflaws are well-meaning people, because they aren’t.
If you want to know why you should harden your heart a little bit and adamantly oppose allowing these people into our country, here is the best reason:

Mexican hypocrites. They have been invading our country for decades. Pushing their way in here, waving their damn flag, demanding to be made citizens, demanding free everything. Now all of a sudden when it’s done to them they don’t like it. God how I hate Mexicans.

Trump is taking a giant plunger to Mexico.
Let them deal with the chaos they themselves caused.
This is where we need to take a stand against this insanity.
In other news, look for a Federal judge to rule that they must be let in from Mexico.

No Wall, not today, not tomorrow - elections have consequences - losing the House dooms any additional Wall funding for the next two years at best.
And supposedly there is another “caravan” forming in EL Salvador so will Mexico allow them passage or are they learning their lesson?
