The official report said Whisenant, 37, shot himself in the head, which means a gun wouldve been found right next to his body unless a passerby managed to swipe it before authorities showed up.
The thing is, a gun was never found.
Whisenant was handling visa and passport fraud cases in Democrat Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultzs district in Broward County at the time of his death.

OMG!! WHY the hell isn’t the JUST US dept. Sent in?....oh...because DSW is involved!!
This happened many, many, many months ago.
How devious, this guy managed to hide the weapon after killing himself!
true?
Broward County might as well call itself Chicago South. It’s like the ghost of Al Capone is running the place!
Correct! Under obama.
He was found washed up on shore by the tide. He could have waled to the edge of the water at ebbing tide, shot himself, dropped the gun in the sand where it was buried, and washed out with the tide and washed up later.
He tied it to a helium filled balloon and it sailed away after he killed himself.
Let me guess...shot five times in the back. Brenda Snipes commented it was the worst case of suicide she ever saw.
Its like the ghost of Al Capone is running the place!
*********
Al Capone used to winter there ... and just like Chicago everyone in gov’t from the dog catcher on up is in on it.
“How devious, this guy managed to hide the weapon after killing himself!”
I also wonder how many times he shot himself in the head?
Don't worry, Brenda said she already counted his vote for Gillum and Nelson....
Old Al loved to vay-cay in Florida.................
Two bullet holes to the back of the head.
Obviously a suicide.
Let me guess.
Hillary was vacationing nearby.
Scary times in this country.
Trump is our only hope.
We need to support him.
George Webb had this pinned more than a year ago. This is an old case that revolved around Imran Awan and Wasserman-Shultz.
There used to be a vacation cottage place in Navarre, FL, about ten miles from here, where Al Capone and his entourage would stopover for the night, on the way down to South Florida.
The lady who owned it then said that he and his group were very polite and respectful, didn’t make any noise or raucous partying and left a big tip....................of course alcohol was prohibited..........;^)
