Let's cut the crap. These women only have to listen to these guys for a few minutes. Next thing you know they're ready to take their pants off. It worked with B.J. and Hussein. Doesn't matter to them if they end up like Mary Jo or Kathleen Wiley-remember her? Beto stepped up to be the next one. Are all women this way? The answer is no. It only takes a few and the election is lost. This is what we are up against. John Edwards must be fuming somewhere.
110,000 votes is more than 100,000 votes.
My responses are geared toward what the OP and other posters here have been saying - they’re claiming that women vote based on how “attractive” or “handsome” a candidate is.
That differs from the way a candidate “carries” himself. For example, does he make his arguments intelligently and with confidence? BTW, I voted for Cruz in the primary. And, yes, then I voted Trump for president.
Election night goes by and I asked her who she voted for and she said "Clinton". I asked here why in the name of God did she do that. Answer: "Oh, he's such a handsome man." I felt like banging my head against the wall.
I don't know which election you're talking about, but in 1992 NAFTA was Bush's baby, not Clinton's, so that's not as surprising as it might seem now.
The The GOP is the corporatist globalist cheap labor party to blue collar America. That's the problem.
Newt had it right with his Contract with America. We are in an opportunity America. Make the “Contract” about “making the most of the opportunity.”
As the Trump economy gets better, there are those who are not happy. They feel left out and left behind. They need a hand up. Career consultation to help folks lost in the system would be available. Government would not only build up the infrastructure but provide a road map for ones future. Instead of government against us, it would be government for you.
Frankly, I agree with your wife. Using the same MO, he might very well be and we are certainly unable to go thru that hell so soon after the hell we’ve been dealt in the past few years. POTUS TRUMP is attempting, but there is only one (unfortunately) at this time. Would we be so fortunate in finding another? I think not. It is feared after triumphant years of TRUMP, we will be in the same predicament we found ourselves with the term limits of Ronald Reagan. The same jokers, thieves, and crooks preparing to tear apart their prey.
Our party will never be in the 21st century when most of our members are so old they've forgotten their pride in what we were and how much we accomplished as a nation. Their loss is our downfall. Until we once again bring civics, history, and GOD (not necessarily in that order) into our public schools, we will never see progress in growing the party.
Agree on Trump. But you kinda miss the point: MAGA only works on people who know what American greatness was-—mostly over 50, though some of those under who have been well-educated.
(ouch!)
Do believe I sat on it!
:-)
These thieving d’rats attempting to overthrow our elections have made me blind with anger.
And here I sit w/no BandAids.
Unfortunately, I know just as many young people (in this case I’m referring to late 20’s to late 30’s...not really young, though) that were in their teens during the Obama years. They are fairly well off, college educated, two, sometimes one large income, professionals who live in affluent suburbs who are so into the self-affirmation, social media generational “feelings” that they vote against their own self-interest (they vote Democrat) because it “feels good” and Trump is “such a bully”, and who are we to judge that America is better than anyone else, blah blah, blah...I blame some of this on a much easier life than their parents and grandparents before them had, the education system, Hollywood, and, I’ll say it again, social media. This Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc., etc., generation is based on digital “friends” (not real), “life hacks” (looking for the easy way out), memes (pointless diatribes) and lack of depth of understanding/logical argument...they don’t want to be judged, and expect everything to be absolutely perfect...for everyone, regardless of personal decisions and consequences.... (Rant off).
Excellent rant and exactly on point.
