So the much anticipated 2018 election is over. Scott and DeSantis squeaked out wins in Florida; Beto (barely) got veto'd; McCaskill and Heitkamp are out; Menendez survived; and Keith Ellison won AG in Minnesota. And Occasional-Cortex won her House seat, in a Dem district.
And, the Democrats eked out a win in the House; but it took the combined efforts of 24x7 Trump derangement in the MSM, censorship from social media, hundreds of millions of dollars from liberal billionaires, and backstabbing from the late John McCain and the retiring Paul Ryan, and around 40 GOP resignations, as well as (may we now join in calling them) Faux News calling the House before polls had closed in CA, and over 200 races open, for the Dems to gain fewer seats than average for the out party in their first midterm.
This can mean only one thing.
Nancy Pelosi colluded with the Russians!/b>
In some ways, the Dems winning the House strengthens Trump for 2020. Pretty much anything that happens or doesn’t happen he can blame on Pelosi’s House.
If the Dems are ruthless and unethical in their investigations, and they certainly will be, Trump’s base will turnout and support him in full strength in 2020.
The one thing I would like to see worked on is healthcare. I could retire if I know how much it would cost. Doubt that will happen.
Surely the Democrats won’t try anyways will they?
I have a couple questions. Do we know the popular vote totals? Did they take a majority of the governorships and had did they do it?
Thanks. Oregon would be just as it is. Two dem idiots representing us.
US state governments by party control.
Here's the map the Senate would be be close if the 17th were repealled.
