Well, crap!
ethanol, the worst ‘fuel’ ever invented.
For automotive general service, ethanol is poor in efficiency, causes more pollution and damages engines.
Sessions was first strike.
Ethanol is strike two.
.
Ultra bad news for sure!
Ethanol destroys engines like nothing else can, and for no good reason.
Trump is wrong on this. Oh, well.
Ethanol is food or drink, not fuel. At least, so far, I have a reliable E0 station to supply my small engine needs. But, my cars would be happier with a higher energy content fuel - like pure gasoline.
My classic bike just threw up in its carbs a little...
Just don’t force us to use it it! Screw BIG government, be it Demon or Public...
Trump IQ drops from Brilliant to Idiot.
1. Corn prices rise. Corn used to feed livestock. Other food prices rise. Shortage of corn based products.
2.Mileage drops. Many more repair issues. Older vehicles and even newer small engines incompatible. Extremely poor life of stored Gas.
3. Energy used to produce Ethanol exceeds its energy output.
4. More smog.
Growing corn to make alcohol to mix with gasoline makes NO sense.
Alright guys, this is war. It is a war against China and we have to be good Americans and take a few lumps. I don’t like ethanol either but for now it beats a shooting war.
We can’t let our farmers go broke and be dependent on other countries to feed us.
I knew I forgot one.
5. Does not even work in the free market. Must be subsidized by the taxpayer.
That’s too bad. Farmers sold their corn for feed before all this ethanol crap showed up. Does anybody know what percentage of ACTUAL Iowa family FARMERS are involved, as opposed to big corporate farms?
This makes no sense at all. I don’t often disagree with this President but on this he is 100% wrong.
Winning!
Instead of siding with farmers or refiners, how about siding with consumers? We want a CHOICE of whether to have that corrosive “fuel” in our vehicles.
Surprised by this. Our car that is supposed to use the E85 cannot, it gets messed up. Cost us $$$$ to get it fixed.
So...the tax cut we got will end up being spent on more fuel for the car since mileage will drop, another lawn mower since the engine life was just cut in half, higher food prices since corn prices will rise. And who knows what other dislocations in the economy will cost Mr. and Mrs. Average American.
Thanks a lot.
