Rampage Killings Increase Exponentially After Introduction of Serotonin-Related Antidepressants
Chalet Reports ^ | 5 October 2018 | David Reznor

Posted on 10/05/2018 7:13:19 PM PDT by LevonRiver

Chalet Reports finds that indiscriminate rampage killings in the United States increased by nearly five times (500 percent) within the first decade after the introduction of serotonin-related antidepressants in the 1960s, and has essentially doubled since then, to nearly 10 times the highest rate of rampage killings in earlier decades, after Eli Lilly first began admitted testing on humans of fluoxetine (known mostly by its brand name Prozac).

The bar chart below shows the number of such rampage killing incidents (not number of victims) by decade, beginning in 1900, through August 2018. A proportional line graph of the growth of the US population during the same time period is superimposed over the bar chart of rampage killing incidents, demonstrating conclusively that the rate of increase of rampage killings grows significantly faster than the population.

... Chalet Reports research also indicates that at all relevant times, Eli Lilly was a major contractor for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). As Congressional hearings and other investigative efforts have affirmed beyond any doubt, the CIA at relevant times was actively engaged in developing and testing drugs, hypnosis, and other techniques attempting “mind control” under the banner of a program named MK-Ultra and its offshoots.

In fact, as H. P. Albarelli, Jr., has documented from CIA records, in his book A Terrible Mistake, Eli Lilly was the exclusive, and illegal, supplier in the early 1950s of LSD to the CIA’s Technical Services Staff (TSS) for its experiments, often conducted on unwitting Americans, including mental patients, prisoners, and service men. One such document, a memorandum for the record by CIA official Robert Lashbrook, details this arrangement with Lilly, at a time when the CIA was calling its mind control program ARTICHOKE ...

Somebody finally doing a study that seems to confirm something I have suspected for many years. It isn't GUN control we need.

The next question is: “Why?”

A more accurate connection would be that at that time, prayer was eliminated from schools.

Why no evidence cited, beyond time frames, of a connection between SSRI’s and violence? Because there is none?

Before we had ‘Science’, we had ‘Common Sense’. It seems to have stood us well in many respects for centuries, and sometimes a correlation that is recognized actually DOES intimate a cause.

There may be a lot of influences contributing to the individual propensity for violence. But I’m personally not convinced that we really know enough yet to be playing around with brain chemistry in the ways that we have been doing.

A great many factors in society changed from the 1960s onward, including the breakdown of family and social institutions, as well as the introduction of the hula hoop.

I’m not sure why its obvious that anti-depressant drugs are the factor responsible for mass killings.

Because the “study” is from a conspiracy website and my guess is that the one who posted the article has a connection with it.

As a class, SSRI's have a (dichotomy) side effort on a very small percentage of users. This is described as causing an "increase in suicidal thoughts and/or behavior".

However, I would not describe it so simply and harmless (relatively speaking)

With the huge increase in the number of people using SSRI's, that very small percentage starts to become a large number of people...

unnatural supplements cannot do the same as natural. God created plenty of natural ways to deal with depression and axiety etc but Rx and doctors keep wanting to think they know better (no need for God) and they hurt many people in the process of their selling their stupidity to public.

I was under the impression that 100% — or close to 100% — of the school shooters of the late '90s and after had been on SSRIs or were "tapering off" them; at least, that's what I read here, and elsewhere.

I don't know if that's actually true, and our side is susceptible to "advocacy research" as much as is the other side, unfortunately.

The increase in rampage killings also began right after the Red Skelton Show went off the air. Coincidence? I think NOT!

Correlation does not equal causation.

True but it is a reason to explore further.

It should be looked in to how many of these Rampage Killers were under a doctors care and if it can be discovered were they on anti-depressants.

Obvious the increase in killings correlates with number of moslems invading this nation.

Read the article.

They filtered out terrorism in the study along with various other multiple type killing that would be unrelated to drugs such as workplace and family killing.

There was a huge uproar in the 80s and 90s over kids being given Ritalin and other drugs to “moderate” their behavior. A lot of media stories wondering what these kids might be like later in life.

Looks like some of them were worth the concern back then.

Ok, let’s put together a list, a long, long, long list, of all the things that began or ended, or increased or decreased in the same time frame. It would go into the hundreds, if not thousands. You’ve GOT to show that a very significant number of these perps were on the drugs you cite. Without that, you have garbage. Don’t we teach people how to think straight anymore? This is foolishness.
