President Donald Trump has told reporters that it is a "difficult" and "scary" time for young men in the US.
Mr Trump's remarks came as he reiterated his support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who is currently facing sexual misconduct allegations by several women.
A vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh has been delayed as the FBI investigates the claims, which he denies.
Mr Trump said he believed the Senate would approve the judge.
His appointment would be a major victory for the Trump administration as it would be expected to tilt America's top court in favour of conservatives for years to come.
Mr Trump was speaking to reporters at the White House amid bipartisan recriminations over the nomination.
The president's fellow Republicans accuse Democrats of seeking to delay a vote until after the mid-term elections, in the hope they will win control of Congress and derail Judge Kavanaugh's appointment.
Democrats say they should not be rushed into a vote and the FBI should be allowed more time to investigate all allegations against the nominee....

Most men think these women are compliant which is why they are attracted to them in the first place. I have written endlessly here that that is a false assumption of dumb men.

Well I married two American women and zero other nationality so I don’t know which guys you’re referring to.
If they can't find GOOD Americans to date/marry, it's from lack of trying, being poor catches themselves, and/or looking for a fantasy female.
Of course, there are good women here. But men want to have sexual relations with women without any kind of commitment and then are upset when those women turn on them. Sex means so much more to women than it does to men and yet they never figure that out. Why? I know a lot about men and their insecurities because I listen to them and love them (my husband and my brother, in particular!) My heart bleeds for Judge Kavanaugh - it really does.
I have never even been to the Philippines. I was stationed in South Korea during the Carter and Reagan administrations. I researched going over there for marriage when I was single but met my wife on Craigslist (yes, Craigslist) in the meantime. My first wife was a Methodist and my wife now is a life-long Catholic from Philadelphia. I’m Lutheran to the point of having been adopted through Lutheran Social Services as an infant.

Yes. It was.
Before this whole mess, I wasn't all that crazy about Kavanaugh, because he was a known "squish"/moderate. But now I'm all in for him! What has been done to him, his parents, his children, and his friends and people whom he mentored or worked with, is beyond horrendous! And it has most assuredly changed him forever.
At least in the book and then the movie, ADVISE AND CONSENT, the smear job was based on more than an insane rumor AND it was NOT splashed all over the newspapers and T.V.!
I’m with you! Before this mess when Bob Ewell and Mayella Ewell became heroes in the Beltway, I thought he was a squish too. Now, I’m all in. I hope he’s learned his lesson not to hang out with swamp rats.

ADVISE AND CONSENT and THE BEST MAN are my favorite political modern films. The other ones ( SEVEN DAYS IN MAY, DR. STRANGELOVE and the later THE CANDIDATE ) aren't nearly as good; though Dr. STRANBGELOVE is really just a black comedy and shouldn't count in this list. And the much later ones are all UTTER GARBAGE!
The much earlier movies are either just silly fluff or Commie propaganda ( ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER ), and not to be taken seriously.

I”m not a huge fan of The Best Man although my husband is. I love Dr. Strangelove because it is just very silly as well as hilarious - what a performance from Peter Sellers! My favorite is Advise and Consent with my beloved Walter Pidgeon and Charles Laughton. With a very good performance from NYC actor, George Grizzard!
But you can’t show me where I’ve been anti-Catholic? Are you sure it’s my memory that is faulty? I’ve asked you how many times now to show me where I was anti-Catholic? Now I throw it to everybody here to find a post where a reasonable person could say my comment was anti-Catholic. Anybody?
