President Donald Trump has told reporters that it is a "difficult" and "scary" time for young men in the US.
Mr Trump's remarks came as he reiterated his support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who is currently facing sexual misconduct allegations by several women.
A vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh has been delayed as the FBI investigates the claims, which he denies.
Mr Trump said he believed the Senate would approve the judge.
His appointment would be a major victory for the Trump administration as it would be expected to tilt America's top court in favour of conservatives for years to come.
Mr Trump was speaking to reporters at the White House amid bipartisan recriminations over the nomination.
The president's fellow Republicans accuse Democrats of seeking to delay a vote until after the mid-term elections, in the hope they will win control of Congress and derail Judge Kavanaugh's appointment.
Democrats say they should not be rushed into a vote and the FBI should be allowed more time to investigate all allegations against the nominee....

My father and mother understood the psychology of men and knew as a young man I would chase ass. It was a natural part of growing up.

Anyone who has been on FR a long time has seen lots of family law horror stories for men.

I disagree. I think what this has taught us is to get back to church and community activities, chaperoned dances and double and quadruple dates and quit chasing ass. If we don’t do it voluntarily I suspect the commies will do it for us.
I saw the family law horror from the point of view of being a young child watching my family go through it.
The damage it did to me and my sister is impossible to wholly express. Left me with a lifelong conviction that feminism = child abuse.
America is not just a country...it is an idea (an ideal).

I have no clue what I would do to defend myself if some woman I never met all of the sudden pops up and claims I assaulted her 30 years ago.
Kavanaugh has now had to deal with it multiple times.
Umm, Filipinas by and large speak fair to excellent English since they begin learning it in elementary school. Men looking for wives aren’t attracted to the Philippines because they “put out” any more than any other country, as a matter of fact, being Catholic they are more conservative than the average woman in this country. And if you think Asian women are more “compliant” than Western women you are very mistaken.
There are plenty of good Christian American women all over the place if you bothered to look for them.
Where? I have been happily married to my wife for 35 years so it’s an academic question for me, but my personal experience is that available “good Christian American women” are as rare as hen’s teeth.
And I’ve been a lifelong church goer, so I would say that holds in church as well. The Christian women I know in church are all married. The unmarried ones are not in church as far as I can tell.
Just as an example, I went all the way through an “elite liberal” college without meeting a single Christian woman.
In my NYC area, every Catholic Church has meet ups, dances and parties designed for good women to meet good men. I assume the same with Protestant faiths. But if you demand sex from these women, you are going to be heartily disappointed. Which is why most guys move on to easy women who end up making false rape claims.
