Traditionally what part does the FBI play in the nomination process of a Supreme Court Nominee? The FBI conducts a background check at the request of the White House, mainly to ensure the nominee does not pose a risk to national security interests of the United States.
Investigators interview associates of the nominee and report their findings back to the White House. Kavanaugh, who served in the George W. Bush White House, has already completed six FBI background checks.
How did the FBI become involved in this abrupt request for Judge Brett Kavanaugh to be investigated for the 7th time, while the Senate was to vote to confirm him?
After Jeff Flake told his fellow Republicans he would vote to confirm Kavanaugh IF they agreed to a week long FBI investigation, they all gathered around him. He created a Bill to give the FBI a week to investigate, and it was agreed upon. But Senator Charles Grassley was livid, and he said he could not promise anything – he then abruptly ended the meeting.

That’s odd, I didn’t think the general public was allowed on the same elevators as members of congress and there are tons of police officers to enforce that. Did someone give them special identification or passes or did the employee working the elevator get bribed or persuaded to let them on? I thought they learned their lesson from Sirhan Sirhan.

I wonder if they also investigate whether or not the nominee has sexual peccadilloes in his background? That way, they can tell the rats 🐀 to put it where the sun don’t shine, when they bring out the usual accusers.

The commies have been doing this since their success in Russia over a century ago. Somewhere in the names of most commie countries are one of the words “democracy” or “republic” or one of their variants.
However this outfit “Popular Democracy” sums up what they really want for the moment. They want the popular vote to determine elections (where three coyotes and a chicken vote on what’s for supper). Had this been the case last election Hitlery would have won, and this is her biggest gripe.
