That officer sounds like white trash. But situations like this are usually not as clear as black and white. Often, the white-collar supervisors will attempt a whitewash. Sometimes, they’ll even tell little white lies.

Usually, a manager cannot just fire people willy-nilly.
You need to have a paper trail, that shows a pattern of offenses, followed by a pattern of retraining opportunities.
There must be no mediator or employee representative here.
There is certainly no evidence of forgiveness and the ability to learn from past mistakes. This cannot continue without being challenged. I predict some humongous Class Action Lawsuits from people who refuse to be tarred, feathered and pushed out the door w/o due process PC or not.

Not quite sure how you make the giant leap you make that it was uttered by white trash.
So any term is racist now except “Black is Beautiful” or “Black Lives Matter” and the OK sign is racist but raising a black fist during the National Anthem is freedom of speech.
And that was nearly twenty years ago.
I'm retired now and use it all the time.

Better arrest all the makers of washing powder like Tide, and especially all Clorox products!
