There was hope, initially, that Mollie Tibbetts, the 20-year-old Iowa college student who went missing last month, would be found alive.
Maybe she had left on her own accord (though unlikely) — or maybe someone holding her against her will had just gotten in too deep and was trying to figure a way out.
ADVERTISEMENT Maybe there was some huge mistake, some vast misunderstanding, somehow, and all would be explained.
Tragically, none of these scenarios was the case.
The breaking news on Tuesday flooded across televisions, phones and radios, stunning Americans everywhere: Mollie Tibbetts, the bright, beautiful young woman with a loving family and the rest of her life ahead of her, was dead — her body left in an Iowa cornfield, her body covered with cornhusks, so sadly symbolic of the state she called home.

I guess my viewpoint is just, an American is an American. Regardless of politics. And while I find her tweets laughable and misguided, I’m also fully cognizant of the fact that she hadn’t even begun to live her life yet. She was likely parroting the same idiotic lib-tard talking points that had been hammered into her mind by teachers, professors and the media over her short life.
Had she been allowed time to grow into an adult and experience real life, and the real world, it’s possible some of those opinions would have changed.

She was someone’s daughter, she was 20 with lots of time to learn her political views were flawed. Be a better person. She was an American.
My daughter is about to be 20, and we don’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of things.
But at least I have tried to make her aware of the bias in the media and not to believe everything she hears, I’m making some progress there, so I have hope.

I can't help but wonder what her last thoughts were as that illegal alien piece of scum was killing her. Was she happy to give her life for the greater good of having illegals here? Or did she realize, at the very last moment, just why Trump and his supporters feel the way they do?
And I thought I have been too critical of Christians and their hypocrisy on this website.
