Fox News Digital Politics Editor, Chris Stirewalt, said yesterday reporters should stop covering President Donald Trumps rallies. He also advocated for ending the televised White House Press Briefings, bashing the Administration.
I submit, we should stop having reporters at those Trump rallies. Everybody should stop having reporters penned up like veal in the back of those things for the President to use as a prop. And then some of the reporters exploit that for their own personal benefit. This is not helping anybody. Get out of the hall. Leave the cameras. Get the reporters out of the hall. Quit letting him use you as a foil.
You remember this guy, right? Stirewalt is the guy Megyn Kelly would bring on routinely during the 2016 Presidential Campaign to laugh at, mock, and attack Donald Trump. They had a grand time, for a while, telling us that Trump could not win the 2016 GOP Nomination and, even if he did he would not beat Hillary Clinton!

Widdle reporters want their mommies.
That repulsive character, along with Shep Smith and Neil Cavuto, has helped us break the Fox News habit at our house.
This creep has now shown his face on the increasingly nasty “All Stars Panel” during the 6pm news. It certainly shows why Fox is anti-Trump in its news division and why Bret Baier’s show is unwatchable despite Mollie Hemingway and Charlie Hurt.
Actually, not a bad idea.
With today’s technology, they’re nothing but a bunch of dinosaurs anyway.
If the journalists wanted to make a statement....go for an entire week without people at the White House, or mentioning the president at night on the news. Go ‘Trump-silent’.
All he’s doing is using them as his ‘advertising’.
He has a point
Yes, “nasty” is a good description. You can just sense the disdain many of them have for Trump.
Old media who needs ‘em ?
GET OUT
I’ve never liked that sniveling bubble-faced man with his attempts at jive talk (he thinks he’s so cool).
INTERESTING! The forum used to be their turf where they were really the ones in control and they could bash the POTUS.
Sarah has flipped it to where that’s no longer the case, and they are the ones being made to look bad.
The presses solution? Cancel the forum!
The very suggestion exposes their motives.
Amen to that. Those three make me puke. You can throw in Jonah Goldberg too.
If Chris Stirewalt wasn’t such a moron he would understand that the press doesn’t want our President to stop bashing them. They need to viewed as poor little innocent victims.
It is a decent idea but it won’t happen. They can spout about the President’s ego all they want, but they want to inject themselves and their opinions into the story. Megyn Kelly displayed that royally for all to see. In many ways too, to stay relevant because of new technology and the way folks seek out and receive the news.
Don’t forget Dingbat Dana.
That repulsive character...
**************************
He is repulsive...not only in his snarky personality but even in actual appearance. When he appears, he sits there looking like a fat little toad. I keep expecting his tongue to dart out any moment to catch a nearby fly.
I actually agree with some of this. I would have reporters come to the briefing room without cameras and smart phones. let them write notes like the used to - they might have to actually report if that is the case then they won’t be able to use the White House Briefing as their own personal showcase.
Now that Jim Acosta has a running feud with Hannity does Brett Baier still stand with his CNN colleagues?
Fox is unwatchable and becoming more and more Faux everyday.
It’s really an awful show. It really is the Twitter Show - an hour of discussing - in a beetle-browed way - the President’s tweets. 9/11 could happen again, and that chubster Baier would still be burbling on about tweets...
Megyn who?
