I actually agree with some of this. I would have reporters come to the briefing room without cameras and smart phones. let them write notes like the used to - they might have to actually report if that is the case then they won’t be able to use the White House Briefing as their own personal showcase.

The press could just report whatever the Trump Administration has been doing. Just tell it straight. Like it or not, they passed a bill that does x, y, and z. But no -- the press NEEDS to stop this guy. They need to make people hate him. That is their central focus. And if they keep failing to achieve their goal when they cover his rallies, then they will just stay away.
