Because liberals love to claim that they are for the “little man” while their policies - high taxation, stifling regulations, government giveaways, embracing the illegals - crush the middle class hoping to make a decent living the honest way.

Or, Congress could simply pass a statute temporarily eliminating land use restrictions in areas where median home prices exceed 3x median household incomes, until that ratio goes down to 2.5.

MOVE!

Making a combined $138,000 you could live extremely well in Texas, or most anywhere else in the middle of the country.

The media’s new “crisis”, this will be all over the MSM by the weekend.
It will captivate the Sunday talk shows.

Yep all those poor people with cell phones living in their cars because they value the luxuries of life more then care about the responsibility of life. They are making car payments and paying for insurance instead of rent?

THIS is what happens when you raise a generation to value “self esteem” instead of “responsibility”.

News flash, folks:

Most Americans can't afford the standard of living they've come to expect as their God-given birthright.

Sorry if that burst anyone's bubble here.

Actually, it may be the inevitable result of what happens when more and more people see a home as a liability rather than an asset.

If the U.S. economy is really doing so well, then why is homelessness rising so rapidly?

Because there is a republican president in the white house. The media writers guide demands that relationship.

Housing is an issue which I can’t properly address, but there certainly are jobs to be had. Not many pay 60, 80, or 100K but they pay enough to survive and rent an apartment in most cities except San Fran.

That is the obvious and expected result of the Socialist policies enacted by the Obama administration.

That’s what Trump ran on: stopping the destruction of the middle class, stopping the policies that make the rich richer and the poor poorer, but it takes time to reverse the damage already done and turn this ship around..

Lots of retired people “live in their vehicles”. It is called the RV lifestyle.

Homelessness is mostly a choice of people who have serious drug or alcohol problems, mental problems, or a combination of both.

Almost all homeless are men. There is a growing number of young urban “crusties” who reject steady jobs for panhandling and voluntary homelessness.
