Another week, another false accusation of racism.
If the advancement of technology has done anything for society, its given people the opportunity to see for themselves whether people are actually telling the truth when it comes to serious allegations.
The most recent false accusation comes to us from the state of Missouri, where a police officer in Lees Summit pulled over Ciera Calhoun, a nurse in her late 20s, for not having her lights on at night. The officer reasonably questioned Calhoun on whether she had thrown a plastic baggie out of the driver-side window just before pulling over. Calhoun said she didnt know what the officer was speaking of, so the officer let it go. Calhoun was let go with two warnings, but no ticket.
Everything seemed fine with the interaction until Calhoun decided to take to Facebook and write a post - which has since been removed by Calhoun - accusing the officer of racially profiling her and her friends who were also in the car after getting home, according to The Blaze.
Calhoun wrote of multiple officers being on the scene for a routine traffic stop, as well as feeling unsafe during the interaction.
The Blaze reported on Calhouns accusations:
Now let me tell yall, Calhoun wrote. [Three] black nurses with [Bachelors] degrees and [Masters] degrees were standing at the side of the road for an hour being harassed.
[These] police officers had their hands on their guns the whole time I tell you, she continued. I can honestly say I dont feel safe around police officers at all. I didnt care for police before, [b]ut now I can say I hate them to the core of me.
Its as if Calhoun had never heard of the fact that police have cameras in pretty much every squad car, with officers in certain cities being required to wear body cameras as well.
Here we go! This is the dashcam footage of the traffic stop, released by the Lees Summit Police Department:
Lee's Summit Police Dashcam Shows Nobody Was Profiled
What was that about racial profiling? It seems to bring back a favorite quote of mine, The biggest racists are the ones that always cry racism.
Theres nothing sinister or nefarious here, Sgt. Chris Dupue said.
In todays society, people under 35 have been told all their lives that everything they do is special and that nothing is ever their fault. That must be the reason that people of any color feel justified in making false claims against innocent people because they absolutely have to get their way.
Judging by the evidence, Miss Calhoun may not pass go and may not collect her race-baiting card.
Not really.
Can she be charged with anything?
Cops could sue for libel, slander and having an attitude.
Leftist haters wanted body cams, to prove that cops are evil racists. Turns out that the body cams are proving that the cops AREN’T!
I laughed at the libtards who laughed at the cops who said these body cams would protect them against false accusations. Them libtards ain't laughin now.
I did not know there was a site dedicated to this but I’m not surprised.
“Leftist haters wanted body cams, to prove that cops are evil racists. Turns out that the body cams are proving that the cops ARENT!”
Snicker. Reminds me of when they forbade pictures on college applications. This was supposed to result in more blacks accepted. Didn’t.
Next they required pictures and ordered colleges to admit more blacks, which only resulted in more black dropouts.
if she lied so easily and publically about the encounter, what’s to say she doesn’t or won’t lie about patient care?
license suspension for 1 year might teach her a lesson on how important it is for a nurse to be seen as honest
Don’t know ... however if I were the hospital administrator where she is employed we would be having a discussion about her attitude and qualities focusing on others well being and possibly life itself.
This episode shows that she does lack the moral character you expect from a medical professional. But my money is on that no one will care to do anything about it.
Does it matter if a nurse is a stinking liar. Yes sir, I gave him his meds right on time. Yes I looked in on him 20 minutes ago and he said he was fine...
I’m sure they’ll remember her next time and she probably won’t get a pass then.
Black woman driving at nights with lights off with an invalid license is treated politely by polite white officer, who gives her a warning and ends with asking her if she would needs anything else.
Creepy black female bigotry.
Haven’t some of the SJW started claiming that these body cameras and patrol car cameras are now violating the rights of minorities? I guess they mean that they are violating their right to lie about the cops.
I’ve heard that. Violating the rights of minorities appears to sound like minorities have “special” rights.
This was always brushed aside with the assumption that the police were actually a bunch of racists in word if not in deed.
May I take this chance to say, "Told ya!"
She is a nurse.
Can you imagine the hell that a white patient has to go through every moment she is on duty?
Potential lawsuits from past patients? Whether warranted or not I have read of cases where cops were painted as racists and suddenly every case they have ever been involved with is tainted if the person is of color. The race pimps and lawyers pile on looking for money.
And you pull this story up as part of character implications on malpractice lawsuits and the insurance company writes a big check. Proven liars are easy.
Just goes to show that having them college degrees does not make a person better or smarter....or keep them from harboring hateful racists thoughts as their guiding life-view.
