"In the last few days the United States President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and several others asked for our help in assisting hundreds of Syrian 'white helmets'. These are people that saved lives and were found in life-threatening danger. I therefore permitted their transfer through Israel to additional countries, as an important humanitarian step."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement of 7/22/2018....

But now it looks like the Russians have helped Syria to win and President Trump is talking to Putin about this and other stuff.
Iran verus Israel always seems to come up when the discussion of Syria is on and I realize Israel has security concerns which have to addressed and Trump is on the side of Israel.
There's tough talk and sanctions and then Donald Trump talks.
It happened with North Korea. I hope the mess described in this post leads us to the same end game with Iran.
Trudeau will welcome them with open arms and tax payer dollars ,he’ll also have a big celebration ,D’oh
Canada’s problem. Sounds good to me.
The bad news (at least for those of us who live here in Kanaduh) is that Turd-owe, under the direction of his Principal Secretary Gerald Butts, is itching for a trade war with the US. Why would anyone with a lick of sense, choose to take on our largest trading partner, especially when Mehico and the EU are making trade deals with the US that reduce/remove trade barriers? The country from which we derive 25% of our GDP (according to this article?
The answer:
POLITICS! Turd-owe is down in the polls, even in Quebec, the most secular Province, where his old man is considered almost a 'saint' among the populace. (Think how the Demonrats view JFK and the Kennedy clan!) How do you stir up grass roots support among sheeple? Gin up a trade war with the US! Among the left leaning sheeple of Kanaduh, like the Demonrats in the US, America is almost always seen as the 'bad guy'.
If that isn't enough to get support for your failed policies, insult the President who, in the past, was quite a vain man and would respond in kind. First, you announce immediately after PDJT tightens the screws on immigration to the US, that Kanaduh will take in all 'refugees'. Even who have the money to fly to the US and then seek asylum in Kanaduh. Then you publicly insult the President by giving him a painting of the hotel and (possibly) brothel that his grandfather ran in White Horse during the Klondike gold rush. Then, of course, after PDJT signs the G7 closing statement concerning free, fair and mutually beneficial trade and leaves, Dustbunny Turd-owe THEN announces retaliatory tariffs against the US. PDJT then responded absolutely correctly, that Dustbunny was weak and dishonest. (Of course, being a Lieberal, that is the norm.)
In case Canadians realize how poorly we are governed by Turd-owe, if he can push PDJT to react in anger at Turd-one's insults, he thinks he can gain another majority by America bashing. Fortunately, PDJT is an adult rather than the 46 year old adolescent Prime Minister of my country. I believe that if his left leaning old man were still alive, even Pieree would chastise Dustbunny for his stupidity! Pierre was a leftist, but he was very intelligent and pragmatic and would not have allowed Dustbunny to do such damage to Kanaduh.
I guess you’re right but I trust the USA can secure its northern border if needed.
Trudeau’s dad had the Vietnam War and the riots in this country as a foil to preach anti-Americanism for political gain.
Can the son find Donald J. Trump an opponent to use for his gain? I suspect Trump is smarter and shrewder.
The way politics moves so fast nowadays who knows what can happen in Canada or the USA.
