I knew a woman who was killed along with her husband by their schizophrenic son. The parents were loving, good people.

Just because the relationship of the two “fathers” is repellent to you does not mean they abused the young man, instigated the violence, or caused him to be mentally ill.

I'm leading with hate the sin, love the sinner. We have quite a few friends, and even more customers, who are gay (and married in MA). I have a high school friend who committed suicide in his mid 20's because he was gay (not that you could tell her was gay) and couldn't come out to his father. An only child and his mother has never been the same. Just shattered. I raised 4 children telling them will love you no matter what flavor or sex person you bring home...just a long as they are not a Liberal. I'm not kidding. Those of you who have gay conservative friends can acknowledge dinner parties are still great - unlike dinner parties with lefties. Uggg. None of my kids are gay, but I cannot imagine if one had been and had taken his/her life. And I would not have encouraged adoption or having their own children, if any one of them was gay.
Anyway, when the discussion of gay adoption happened years ago, my husband plainly said, "Children are not a 20 year social experiment." Well, here we are.
I realize we have hetero parents burning their babies and starving their children. Yes, we have American killing each other too, but that's still not a valid argument for allowing illegals to stay in the country.
