Major League Baseball is doing its best to cut all ties with Papa John’s and its racist founder, with Derek Jeter and the Miami Marlins leading the charge.
A recording of John Schnatter using the N-word was uncovered by Forbes on Wednesday, and the ex-CEO stepped down shortly after.
What a poorly written article with half truths and outright lies. I have not heard this so called recording of the precious “N word” but the knives are out and people will be destroyed by the PC hypocrites.
Don’t you love when the media makes sure to slip in that word on the flimsliest of excuses? I’ve been seeing them do that a lot lately but never for the left.

Yeah, right. Jeter has a losing business and attacking Papa John’s is analogous to kicking the dog after a rough day. Marlins and Rays should be deleted from MLB.
Most fans of baseball have cut ties with the Marlins.

The last time I saw a TV game from there, a few weeks ago, the camera panned the criowd. I thought you could fire off an artillery round in the stadium, and not hurt anybody.
If the CEO stepped down, there’s no reason to continue to punish the company.
This is getting ridiculous.
I was a Marlin fan in the 90’s and in early 2000s. They constantly sold off their rising stars and had the lowest payroll. They snookered JEB and the Florida government for their stadium whose proposal was voted against by the citizens of South Florida. They had a decent team in the works last year, and viola, the key players are gone, may have made the playoffs if their star pitcher didn’t crash his boat while high cocaine the previous season. Most of the players on their team now may not make it on a AAA team for most other teams.
But we conservatives keep paying to watch “sports”.
We should hit them where it hurts and not watch, not attend, nor buy their crap anymore.

He apparently used the “N” word third or fourth hand one time in training. So, who whined like a petulant cry baby? Rappers/”comedians” use it dozens of times and it’s okee dookee though.
Derek Jeter is one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
