“Fainting Felon” is clever, but she’ll always be PIAPS to me.
Politically correct but substantively a woman Supreme Court Justice is a disaster.
Three words: Sandra Day O’Connor
I so disagree. Give her time in her relatively new position to see how her conservative, pro-Constitution views hold up. As someone else on FR pointed out last week, when Ginsburg goes (one way or another) the outcry will be for a female to replace her. It’s best to save the best female for that point, who might or might not be Barrett.
She may be qualified but please tell me of one past or existing female SCOTUS justice that was not a liberal. The three existing female SCOTUS justices would, I believe, influence her enough that she would “grow in office.”
Insufficient experience...
Clinton is “leaking” her impending Presidential run (again). I hope the Democrats fall for it (again), and have her suck all of the oxygen out of their campaigns.
I ageee she would be the best choice but I am not sure shes confirmable. And if she fails then there will be no time before the election for plan B.
We MUST have a strong constitutionalist on the SC.
Does she qualify?
Literally nothing else matters.
McConnell is supposedly pushing Trump to name Hardiman as he thinks it will be easier to get him confirmed.
“Corey Booker? This guys closet looks like a skeleton repository”
But Hillary’s is squeaky clean?
How is it that no one is pure enough to pass muster, but this hag keeps getting the nod?
She’s half of the most notorious crime syndicate in D.C.
She has been my first choice, based mainly on her connection with Scalia. I watched this video (it’s from shortly before the 2016 election) of her last night. I came away from it less impressed than I expected to be, but I’ll admit I couldn’t get much of a read on her. There are some things I don’t like about the other contenders, so I guess she’s still my first choice, but I’m wavering and not as confident about her as I was.
The fact that all these RINO, liberals, and foreigners want this chick says she’s the worst candidate.
You and I both agree on this, Eyes. Barrett is the smartest choice and gives the Democrats less Leverage in there resistance.
What happens (with ANY female candidate) at change-of-life time? Do many of them really go off the rails, or is that just a misogynist legend?
This would be a tough appointment.
It would be better for her to be the appointment to the outgoing RBG or the wide (intentional) Latina, after Republicans have passed the 2018 midterms and increased their Senate majority.
