Jim Acosta, a Washington-based CNN reporter, visited South Carolina to cover President Trump's rally on Monday night. Accordingly, Trump supporters chanted, "Go home, Jim!" at the correspondent, who's become a favorite target of the president's base (a status he clearly relishes to some extent).
The chant for Acosta to "go home" was described in a Buzzfeed report on the rally as "a taunt that sounded especially menacing when aimed at a reporter with a Hispanic surname and a father who fled Fidel Castro’s Cuba."
Put in less tactful language, the contention is that it was racist. It wasn't — it was South Carolinians chanting for an adversarial reporter who had traveled from Washington to their state to leave an event. If there were actual reasons to believe it was racist, they were nowhere to be found in the report....

What he experienced, was only a reaction to his constant, unrelenting attacks on president Trump and his supporters.

Leftists now claim there was a "switch" and that the Right is now the "racist" side, but they have a big problem. There are no policies to point to, all they have is hand waving arguments and double talk. Being that it is all they have they have trained themselves to be very good at imagining racism where none exists...so much so they continue to foster racial divisions, but in a new way.
And lets not forget the crowning achievement of the Democrats( the Left) in America, the creation of The Ku Klux Klan.
If HE didn’t flee Cuba, no one was thinking to tell him to “go home” to Cuba. They were just telling him to go home.

Doubt his father fled Fidel. Most likely he was a Fidel plant and so is his son.
Don’t tell him to “go home” ....tell him to “go f himself”.
I don’t think anybody yelling “go home” knows or cares Acosta’s race, they just know he’s very fake news and wanted him gone.
Acosta looks like a white guy. He talks like a white guy. Nobody thinks he is Hispanic. Nobody treats him like an Hispanic, for good or bad. He has no race card to play. He is just a crooked journalist, not a minority.

I had no idea he is Cuban.
But, he could go home to there if it makes him feel better.
Lol! Sadly, there seem to be many now, even in my generation, who are embracing the Communism we left, that the Demoncrats embrace.
And as a Cuban who did flee with my parents, I hate to learn that clown is Cuban.

He is a white guy, as was Castro and most of the power structure in Cuba. They are Spaniards who migrated to Cuba and maintained their white bloodline.
Over using and not using the word correctly will only make it less offensive over time. Telling someone to "go home" means just that - shut up and go home. Our national flower must be a pansy and our national bird must be a chicken.
