You had to see what came before Hayes: Chris Matthews spending a whole hour taking a victory lap over Trump’s latest order keeping families together, calling Trump a liar for saying there was a law against keeping them together.
Hayes(show) comes on 8pm and he does the same for ~ 10 minutes then brings on Andrew Cuomo who says the order means nothing because its illegal to keep the kids with their parents (adult family members) and will be halted by a judge.
Better yet Cuomo goes on to say he is suing the government for splitting up the families by detaining the adults for illegally crossing the border.
That the only legal choice when adults get caught trying to sneak in with kids is to let them go , stay here with us free,
Then I switched to Anderson Cooper on CNN who had Jonathan Turley on who also said that Trumps order keeping those families together was illegal.
Both cited the Flores ruling. Yet both claimed that Trump was lying for claiming that there was a Flores ruling.
Lies, lies , lies…

Yeah, that happens when the “Pen and a Phone” thing happens because Congress is AWOL, again.
So they complain families are being broken apart and the complain they aren’t. Only makes sense to dullards on the left.
Congress has time to act now though. if they do, problem solved. If they don't, their fault.

I don't like tuna sandwiches with mayo. I don't like tuna sandwiches without mayo. It is pretty easy to figure out the common ground - that I don't want a tuna sandwich.
Similarly the left doesn't like illegals incarcerated separate from their children and they don't like illegals incarcerated with their children. The common ground- they don't want illegals held by the government at all in any case. The children are irrelevant.
It seems the best move that Trump could take given the circumstances.
Dont forget MSNBC, CNN, the three networks, Dens and many in the GOP like Grahamnesty and Flake claiming that there was no law forbidding what Trump just did, and calling him a liar daily every hour for a few weeks now for Trump warning us.
But Schumer said congress doesn’t need to pass a law because Trump can just do this with an Executive Order. These people are stupid. (But the people that vote for them are even dumber.)
