To make things worse, Trump will accomplish NOTHING without using MILITARY FORCE.

I dont think it is a loss. The kids get to stay with their parents in detention. It will then be easier to deport the family unit if their asylum claim is debunked. Right now, the kids are disappearing in the US with no way to track them down. It also prevents parents from trying to smuggle in their children to the US with a fake parent.
This EO now forces the left to now declare that it is inhumane to leave these kids in a detention facility. They will try to sue the government. It will then be apparent to all this was a political ploy to increase illegal immigration, which most Americans are against.

I don’t think so. The Left hasn’t been scoring many points against Trump, but once in a while they are going to get in a good hit.

Case in point; these images of kids in cages crying for their mommys. Dishonest but yet very effective propaganda piece and it drew blood.

Part of war is picking your battles and knowing when you are outgunned. Trump was smart to walk away from this one.

Personally, I like how in the fine print of his not separating children from parents he has asked the court to change the settlement ruling which limits the amount of time that children can be held.

If the court doesn’t give then the ACLU will probably through a legal challenge at the President and if the courts block him and force him to separate parents from Children, then it will be egg on the face of Democrats and a clear invitation for legislation to fix the problem.
