Thursday’s report on the Hillary Clinton email investigation by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz was, as Canadian pop-punk degenerates Sum 41 might have put it, “All killer, no filler.” There were so many jaw-dropping moments of, “No, wait — FBI employees can’t do that, can they?” that it transformed an actual government report into a veritable page-turner.
One of those minor gems, however, comes when you find out why the FBI didn’t investigate the Blackberries and other email devices of Hillary Clinton’s inner circle.
“We found that the FBI team and the prosecutors decided together to generally limit the devices they sought to those that either belonged to Clinton or were used to back-up or cull Clinton’s emails,” the report states on page 153.
“The team provided, among others, the following reasons for placing this limitation on the scope of the investigation: (1) the culture of mishandling classified information at the State Department which made the quantity of potential sources of evidence particularly vast; (2) the belief that Clinton’s own devices and the laptops used to cull her emails were the most likely places to find the complete collection of her emails from her tenure as Secretary of State; and (3) the belief that the State Department was the better entity to conduct a ‘spill investigation.’”

The FBI stain spreads from head office in D.C. to every damned state office. Who were the screw-ups who overlooked or downplayed events prior to 9-11? Were they ever dumped for their malfeasance? If you go after HQ in Washington, then you had better go after the FBI leadership in Virginia, Maryland, New York and Illinois, all of whom are selective in their investigations and who play politics without fearing retribution.

The files she said were lost were the “Rose Law Firm’” billing records. They were ‘found’ in a closet in the private White House quarters.
With liberals particularly liberal women Hellary is an article of faith. The sisterhood must be united no matter what. They bought so strongly into the Hellary myth they can’t admit they were suckered.
It’s astounding.
Hillary commits crimes, is investigated for those crimes, and destroys subpoenaed evidence while she’s under investigation - but does not get charged with obstruction of justice.
Trump doesn’t commit a crime, is the victim of an effort to manufacture false evidence against him - some paid for by Clinton’s campaign (e.g. the ‘dossier’) and some the product of rogue FBI efforts to undermine his candidacy, no crime is found - even though FBI surveillance and the full power of a special counsel is used to find ‘something’, and they want to charge him with obstruction of justice because he fired one of the kingpins involved in whitewashing the Clinton investigation - even though this firing was recommended to Trump by the Justice Dept.
