The FBI’s Deep State Cabal Continues to Unravel, One Slimey Thread at a Time

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yeah, that? That’s a terrible idea. But let’s go ahead and do it anyway. – Not one, but two of the dumbest decisions in American history were announced yesterday by completely unrelated businesses, and amazingly, neither of those businesses was named Starbucks.

First, the dimwits who run the Miss America Pageant, which literally began in the 1920s as nothing but a swimsuit competition designed to keep tourists in Atlantic City for a week past Labor Day, announced they would be cancelling the pageant’s… wait for it…swimsuit competition!

Thus ensuring that, in about 5 years, we won’t have the Miss America Pageant to kick around anymore. Adios!

Second, the people at IHOP – aka, the International House of Pancakes – one of the most iconic breakfast houses in American history, have come up with the genius idea of changing the acronym to “IHOB.” The catch is that they aren’t telling anybody what the “B” stands for until next Monday, but hey, just guessing here, it might just stand for “Breakfast” since that’s what the chain specializes in.

Thus ensuring that we won’t have IHOP to kick around anymore after Monday, and probably won’t have IHOB to kick around anymore in about 5 years from now.

Who makes decisions like this? Seriously.

Ok, Bill, tell us something we don’t already know. – The FBI’s Chief of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, spent 8 hours testifying behind closed doors to a joint meeting of the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees about his role and the role of others in the FBI’s sham investigation of the Pantsuit Princess’s email scandal.

While others involved the fake investigation have either lost their jobs (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, James Baker, Lisa Page) or been demoted and reassigned since last November (Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr), Priestap has conspicuously remained in his job, where he served as Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok’s direct boss. This has lead to much speculation that he has long been a cooperating witness for ongoing DOJ investigations being conducted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Huber.

The most interesting part about Priestap’s 8 hours on the stand, as far as the public knows, is that none of his testimony has yet been leaked to the New York Times or the Washington Post. We can be absolutely certain sure that if anything Priestap said was positive for the Democrats or the Fainting Felon it would have already appeared in stories by both of those newspapers.

The only leak as of this writing comes from Catherine Herridge at Fox News, who reported late yesterday that a “source” said Priestap testified that Strzok’s role in the FBI’s shenanigans was even more extensive than we already know, which, given that we already know that he was involved in literally every. damn. thing. hardly seems possible. But there you are.

Priestap’s long-awaited testimony appears to be one step in setting the stage for the release of Horowitz’s also long-awaited report on the fake email investigation and other Coughing Crook-related matters that the FBI chose to cover up during the Obama years. Interestingly, a second such step took place yesterday afternoon…

Life sure does come at you fast, huh Andy? – Hey, remember when ex-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe assured everyone that he hadn’t ever done anything wrong late last year? And remember when he threatened to sue President Trump for slander? And remember when he threatened to take everybody down with him if he was fired before his pension was fully vested? And remember when he got fired and wrote that scathing op/ed for the Washington Post claiming he had done nothing wrong and it was all such a huge injustice? And remember how he did that Gofundme campaign and got a bunch of idiotic suckers to give him half a million dollars for his legal defense fund? And remember how several Democrat members of congress offered to give him jobs so he could be employed long enough to fully earn his pension?

Yeah…good times…good times.

Late yesterday, this very same Andrew McCabe had his high-paid lawyer send a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley begging for immunity from criminal prosecution in exchange for testimony before the Committee. Funny how all that bravado and unbridled hubris starts to disappear as the wheels of justice roll inexorably in these folks’ direction.

Just a note about that IG report… – If you’re feeling frustrated at the constant delays in getting this report released, trust me, you have plenty of company. Including me.

But here’s the way to look at this: The people who are the subjects of the IG investigation and still working within the FBI and DOJ have now had this report in-hand for almost three weeks. Sean Hannity was reporting that yesterday as if it is something unusual, but it is in fact standard operating procedure: Any current employee accused of wrongdoing by the IG is given an opportunity to respond and offer exculpatory evidence before these reports are made public.

But in those three weeks, not a word of this report has been leaked to the fake news media. Given the number of bad actors within the DOJ and FBI who are subjects of this investigation, you can be sure that if anything in this report was positive for their case, it would have already appeared in the aforementioned house organs for the Deep State.

This report is not going to be everything you want it to be – reports of investigations like this never are. But it’s obviously not everything the Deep State wants it to be either, because if it was we’d already know about it.

Remember the old proverb: “The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.”

Just another day in the unraveling deep state America.

That is all.

Last three times I ate at IHOP, I got sick as a dog. Finally learned me lesson. Three IHOPs in three different cities.

Haven’t eaten there in over thirty years. Never will again. Too old to risk food poisoning.

He has it backwards. If there was anything *favorable* to the Deep State in Priestap’s testimony it would have been leaked to friendly media, eg NYT and WaPo.

The big question is , “Who exactly could McCabe provide testimony against?”.

He seems a bit late to the immunity game and so many of the lower level key players have already spilled their guts it's hard to see how much he could add.

He could provide devastating testimony against Comey, the DOJ and many Obama Administration scandals.

Don't think ol’ Andy is going to do well in general lockup at a Federal Prison so you never can tell what he might use to bargain with for avoiding a long stay at Club Fed.

The Clinton and Obama people must be thinking the same thing right about now.

FWIW, the IG report must be very bad, given that stories like the one about the 28 FBI Agents want to be subpoenaed to provide testimony against the Obama Era DOJ and FBI and their roles in covering up for Hillary Clinton started right about the time the IG report was released

I was listening to Laura Ingraham on the radio yesterday. She was discussing this de-beautification of the beauty pageant.

One of her callers, suggested since it was no longer about looks and beauty, why didn't they just broadcast the pageant as a radio program.

I laughed out loud in the car at that comment.

Says it all in nutshell about changing a beauty pageant into a "how do you feel about such and such" pageant.

Reminds me of the beauty pageant contestant, who when asked to tell the audience and judges about her favorite date, she replied that April 10th was nice. Not too hot, not too cold. She was pretty in that swimsuit though.

I haven't watched these things since I was in high school, maybe college. But I would guess this is not only going to kill their TV audience but more than likely it will be the demise of the pageant itself eventually.

Why has nobody heard from Lisa Page ?

I’m sure she signed an NDA, but nobody seems to be banging down her door for an interview....

It was an "advertising" gimmick when it began.

The new gimmick is "recognizing women" as what??

*************

I just don’t foresee McCabe ever doing any time because everyone in DC is afraid of what everyone else knows. If he goes away, there’s a risk he could turn on others to save his own skin and the elites don’t want that to happen. So...nobody ever really gets punished. They’re all in it together and they protect one another.

I was the subject of an IG investigation by the 49th Armor Division IG while deployed to Bosnia in 2000. He interviewed me, and I never heard another word about the investigation. Several years later, I received a letter from the Army IG, stating that the 49th AD IG had found me to be negligent, and filed their findings against me, but after a review, the Army IG found no wrongdoing on my part and were deleting the 49th AD IG report from the public record. So much for providing findings with the one being investigated. Fortunately, Big Army IG was more competent than the 49th IG.
