Analysis: Texas GOP ignores young voters with LGBT snub (Oh boy)
Texas Tribune ^ | April 26, 2018 | Ross Ramsey

Posted on 04/26/2018 8:54:39 AM PDT by GuavaCheesePuff

Texas Republican leaders have decided once again not to allow the party’s biggest LGBT group — the Log Cabin Republicans — to operate a booth at the state convention.

It’s not the first time that’s happened, and it’s in line with the party platform on LGBT issues. But it also pits the party’s social conservatives against its live-and-let-live conservatives and its older voters against its younger ones.

But it also pits the party’s social conservatives against its live-and-let-live conservatives and its older voters against its younger ones.

Giving these people a “booth” at a state convention accomplishes their goal of having their perversions accepted as “normal” while “live and let live” means we tolerate their perversions because we choose not to have to deal with what consenting adults do in their own bedrooms.

Are we also supposed to believe, from the above statement, that older conservatives are a bunch of intolerant bigots, while only the “younger,” hipper conservatives have necessary tolerance to turn a blind eye to said perversions?

Yep. A place at the table is a huge "win" for these degenerates, because they know they will never be dislodged from it.

That's why the Southern Baptist Convention president made a HUGE error in meeting with radical homo-leftist leaders several years ago at the site of the SBC convention to "discuss" their demands. They didn't perceptively give in to the activists, but the meeting itself conferred a massive level of legitimacy to the negotiating party.

You have to read what the other side, left-wingers and others want for America.

You ignore this, you get swept under the sea.

Conservatives have been swept under the sea since Nov. 1988 and look where America is today.
Balkanized. Wake up. Look at the other side and groups and pay attention to what they are doing.

Or get swept, as conservatives have been swept since 1988.

1994, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2010, 2014 and 2016 were good moments, but conservatives are still ignoring the Left.

Don’t ignore the Left!

No offense to the OP but this article is from a Soros organization website with an innocuous sounding name designed to conduct agit prop in Texas

It doesn’t belong here without a warning label

Yes that is the implication.

They want to say that younger conservatives are with it on social issues such as homosexual marriage.

Or look at another way, they want to say look at how tolerant conservatives are, that they are focused on taxes and spending, not on social issues.

The Texas GOP does not need young voters, LGBT voters, their families or their sycophants.

If you just got here from Mars you would conclude that playing with each others poop hole was the most critical civic issues on earth.

So are all of the “young voters” having a problem with their sexual ‘identity’ or what?
