Three Oklahoma teenagers were killed last week when they broke into a house and were met by a homeowner with an AR15. Now the grandfather of one of the teenagers is speaking out about his grandson’s death.
According to KTUL-TV, Leroy Schumacher, grandfather of 17-year-old Jacob Redfearn, believes the death of Redfearn was unjustified because the homeowner’s AR15 gave him an unfair advantage over the three burglars.
Speaking to KTUL, Schumacher acknowledged that breaking into a house was “stupid,” but death was not the appropriate consequence.
“What these three boys did was stupid,” Schumacher said. “They knew they could be punished for it but they did not deserve to die.”

Anyone killed in the commission of a crime is considered murder (at least in Oklahoma - may be the case in other states too). However, in this case the homeowner was deemed justified, so the murder rap goes to her as the remaining participant in that commission of that crime. Since she admitted she was the mastermind of the crime, she is screwed. Her defense attorney can only hope to spare her the death penalty at this point. 8>)
He is definitely one of my favorites as attested by the 348 songs by him in my collection. Of course some of those are repeats with live versions of certain songs.

I understand, but the writer should have written that Rodriguez will be charged with "their" murders. Referring to the deaths as "the" murders is very misleading.

Clearly stupidity is a family trait that has been passed down.
Three to one isn’t a fair fight either. Why didn’t just one of them go in? God made man, Samuel Colt made them equal. I have no sympathy for this moron or any of the three who paid the ultimate price for their stupidity. I do empathize with the victim, who will have to live with this for the rest of his life.

This is what is wrong with black cultue today.
They argue for a fair fight between a black thug burglar and a victimized, attacked homeowner.
They think this is injustice. Urban blacks are beyond corect moral thinking.
Three against one allows for disparity of force on the homeownrs part, anyway. second its a surprise attack, so two reasons for disparity of force for the homeowner.
I reject their premise but if one would argue against it, that’s the answer.
In most places the surviving thugs get charged with murder of the dead thugs.
