Democrats Want To Decide What Is Real or Fake News
Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) is the author of the “Online False Information Act,” a new bill that would require anyone who posts any news on the Internet to verify all information through “fact-checkers.” Sen. Pan does not name who these “fact checkers” are, but I’m sure the State of California will create a new agency of state workers to oversee this.
How about a law that requires legislators to use “fact checkers”.
Secede already you damn commies.
And who checks the fact checkers?
CNN. MSNBC. CBS etc will all be out of business if this goes through.
Maybe they can get a fake but accurate exemption.

My first move will be to rename the committee to reflect reality: The Ministry Of Truth.

Well, this could be a real problem for Democrats in California
It doesn’t matter who votes. It is who counts the votes that matter. Same with the Ministry of Fact Checkers.

Fact checkers? Who will check the fact checkers? PolitiFact recently hired Alan Grayson, a far liberal Democrat and David Jolly, a “Republican” who lost an election and has found new work on liberal networks where he, imho, often criticizes Republicans and Pres Trump. I don’t have much confidence in the objectivity of PolitiFact ratings.

You are completely wrong. Those guys deliver the facts. Breitbart, FR, Powerline, PJ Media, Legal Insurrection, Mark Steyn, American Thinker, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Pamela Gelder, Michelle Malkin, et al — those are all the liars who must go to jail.
This is aimed at killing any conservative voice in the alternative media.
Change on part and see how this would fly - no newspaper or news magazine could publish a story until checked by the ministry of truth.
