As soon as I saw the picture of this kid, I bet kids made fun of his ears. Not what made him crazy (since many kids can handle it) but just another thing part of his screwed up life.

This is a retired teacher’s perspective from San Antonio, Texas on school shootings and talking about the national walkout.
There are many school students who have walkouts planned for the National Student Walkout on March 14th, 2018. This is a great letter that is simple and addresses a powerful truth.

Dear Students,
I know you. I am a retired teacher of 24 years. I have taught you as 7th graders all the way through 12th grade. This is not a tweet or a text. It’s called a letter; lengthy and substantial. Do you really want to make a difference? Are you sincere about making your schools safe? Don’t walk out, read this instead. Walking out of school is easy compared to what this letter will challenge you to do.
First of all, put down your stupid phone. Look around you at your classmates. Do you see the kid over in the corner, alone? He could likely be our next shooter. He needs a friend. He needs you. Go and talk to him, befriend him. Chances are, he won’t be easy to like, but it’s mainly because no one has tried to like him. Ask him about him. Get to know him. He’s just like you in that respect; he wants someone to recognize him as a fellow human being but few people have ever given him the chance. You can.

Parents should sue schools for promoting a purely left wing political walkout.
I really wish parents would stand against and not allow this purposeful manipulation of their children.

The Uniparty was terrified of that phenomenon. They have always been afraid of good Americans rising up because they know it isn’t a planned event like the Soros crowd cranks out.
When people decide to walk out of their houses and make a IN Person stand against these scum, things will change.

When there was a walk out planned at my high school back in the sixties one of my teachers said simply “I am giving an exam on that day. Your JOB is to be here and take it. If you aren’t here you will get a zero. This exam will weigh heavily on your final grade”
My class stayed in that day....except two people who flunked that class because of that test
One of my kids is a high school senior. He says 90% of the girls in his class are participating in this garbage and 90% of the boys are not. I’m not sure what to make if this fact except maybe there is some hope for the next generation of young men in this country.
My kids are walking out of school.....it’s called Spring Break.
The parents agree with the agenda of schools. One of the reasons we are in big trouble.
And as for befriending losers? That’s what Klebold did to Harris. Didn’t work out too well.
Damn the NEA for the pack of intellectually bankrupt thugs that they are.

I agree that many parents go along with the left. Not all though. Many on our side are busy, working hard and looking at things like “Trump will take care of it”. The thing is that Trump needs all of us standing and proving that we are the majority in order to enable him to take more and larger bold steps. Kind of like a “Rolling Thunder” that is totally inevitable and not going to stop!

“this country has no way out without a civil type war. One side has to lose. If the left wins, America is no more. It will be a land mass ruled by World Government. There will be no more Constitution. Your rights will be voided. The left does not believe in God so they won’t care or listen to any God given rights arguments.
The left in this country is openly defiant of any laws not made or dictated by them. They are in full rebellion against the will of America and the duly elected leader chosen by the people.
I believe this admin, the Trump admin, knows this. I believe they would like to win this with as little blood shed as possible. They also know that once they start bringing down the hammer on the lawless, they will have to be ready and ready to control the chaos that will follow. Maybe this is why the slow crawl. Preparedness maybe?
While the letter addresses one aspect of what may drive individuals to commit these atrocities, it isn’t the whole story. Home life, mental health issues, etc. also play a big part in these troubled individual’s lives.
I was a substitute teacher for about 4 years. There’s always a kid or 2 or 3 with no friends.....and there’s usually a reason. Even the weird kids will find another weird friend or 2. The loners are usually disruptive, bullies, and sometimes just plain mean. There are kids who are bullied but they usually have a few friends.
Not sure what makes these shooters crack but it’s definitely a combination of things and just not as simple as this letter makes it seem.
It seems like the Florida shooter had some neurological issues if you look at his photo. I see fetal alcohol syndrome in his appearance. The one who shot Gabby Giffords was as mad as a hatter. Same with the Sandy Hook killer - whose insane mother gave him guns. (We’ll never know what happened there!) None of the lonely kids I went to school with ever ended up shooting up a school or mall. Something else going on here. Mental illness for a start.
I’d say, “Well, kids...seeing as how you’re walking out of school on the 14th, here’s a list of chores I want done around the house that day. Mowing, raking, house cleaning, painting, and re-planting 18 new azalea bushes. When all that is finished, your grandmother needs some help around her house, too.”.

No, this isn't garbage. Sure, not all "loners" are future shooters, but all of these past shooters were loners.
How the heck could it be a bad thing to befriend a lonely kid???
