I’ve driven a regular gasoline powered X5 a couple of times, and it would be my choice for an SUV if I had the money. Unfortunately my aging Ford Edge will have to do, at 130K miles it keeps rolling along.

At that price point, who is seriously concerned with fuel economy? Since when is BMW an SJW vehicle?

My 10-year-old Honda Pilot has 196,000 miles on it.

The difference in price between this BMW and my Pilot would have paid for all the gas I’ve used to drive those 196K miles, with tens of thousands of dollars left over.

That’s if you figure gas at $3/gallon.

My 57 Bel Air has cost me $6500 since I bought it. Gas mileage is terrible, but for the differenc between $74,000 and $6,500 I can buy a LOT of gas and gold plate my car.

You may want to review the scheduled maintenance costs and reliability ratings...

If that vehicle was so great the old saying would apply. A picture is worth a thousand words
