Back in the day, there was no school shootings.
We were warned back in 2000 by Dr. Peter Breggin, M.D. when he testified in front of the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Not only about the damage that prescribed narcotics can cause in children that really don't need them but also the nefarious politics pushed by the pharmaceutical industry in concert with lazy parents and educators that would much rather drug kids as to avoid any kind of education reforms that would require accountability.

Author’s Note: I have found that these events have indeed happened all over the country. In every instance that I have investigated — the incident at the women’s school in Canada, the shopping center incident in Canada, the Stockton, California, massacre, and the murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane — the shooters were all ex-mental patients or were current mental patients who were ALL ON THE DRUG PROZAC! This drug, when taken in certain doses, increases the serotonin level in the patient, causing extreme violence. Couple that with a posthypnotic suggestion or control through an electronic brain implant or microwave or E.L.F. intrusion and you get mass murder, ending in every case with the suicide of the perpetrator. Exhume the bodies of the murderers and check for a brain implant. I think you are going to be surprised. In every case the name of the murderer’s doctor or mental treatment facility has been withheld. I believe we will be able to establish intelligence-community connections and/or connections to known CIA experimental mind- control programs when we finally discover who these doctors of death really are.

Back in the day... there were still shootings, murders, and massacres. Try growing up today an overweight (or not overweight) not particularly attractive white kid and be told all your life that you’ve got this “White Privilege” so you need to Shut Up.
I grew up with that sh!te. Nobody had coined the phrase White Privilege but I remember neroys telling me in 5th grade I needed to gib’em stuff cuz I was rich and they wuz po. 1969-72. Love this country what? Why?

A post a few days ago referenced a class of drugs called SSRI’s (Selective Serotonin Receptor Inhibitors - a class of anti-depressants) as being commonly prescribed among these mass shooters.
The drugs may cause a horrific side effect, or it just may be that the people who are crazy enough to do these kinds of atrocities tend to get identified for some kind of treatment (which would be correlation, but not causation).
Why didn’t you just post the whole thing? There wasn’t that much more.

We all knew kids who were called “hyper” in the classrooms. If disruptions occurred, it normally resulted in the parents being informed and the behavioral issues subsided rather quickly.
In the 90’s with children in elementary school, I noticed a pattern. There were no longer those daily gym classes to burn off that excess energy and recess activities were gradually reduced. Dodgeball, Four Square, Tag and other physical activities were outlawed seemingly because the visibly overweight and/or aging female principles and teachers saw little value in monitoring young children who liked to do normal things like run around.
It also appears many of those teachers, along with parents who couldn’t find the time to deal with the issues a hyper-active child brings, deferred to doctors who prescribed medications to quell their child’s natural energy and it’s clear there is a correlation between the increased carnage at our schools and the cocktails of psychotropic drugs that eventually make a child snap.

Access to readily available violent imagery while under the influence of these drugs doesn’t help either; again a factor we didn’t have back in the day when there were zero school massacres. Of course, the entertainment industry always counters with there being no proven correlation with the constant bombardment of graphic violence in their productions and/or video games despite the horrific acts we’re witnessing today.
So, despite the current media/activist narrative (but it’s not political), it’s NOT all about guns and the kneejerk call for additional legislation.
Until we have parents who will give their children the time and care they require, teachers who aren’t quick to refer a fidgety child to a doctor who’s quick to prescribe addictive narcotics, and an industry more than eager to supply drugs that are as potent as the strongest illegal street drugs, children will continue to display the symptoms that will eventually lead to he or she harming themselves or others.

Bingo- they are crazed individuals and the drugs likely helped them stave off the impulses for awhile, but in the end their craziness/evilness outweighed the drug’s actions- There are tons of seriously mentally ill people who very likely are being helped to remain calm thanks to these drugs- and there would probably be a lot more violent incidents if not for the drugs- the answer i believe lies somewhere else- likely in how society is changing to where parents no longer care about their kids- discipline them- teach them to respect others- and these kids - without adult supervision- live out their anger and frustration be3cause they have no respect for anyone else-
I’m not advocating for doping kids that don’t need it- but really- there are a bunch of seriously violent kids who need help of some kind- and like i said- many are being helped- but some are simply help-less and that’s a frightening reality we are going to have to live with unfortunately
I miss very little but, as a rational man, I will not accept mere correlation as evidence of proof. The charges made are of such serious nature that they need to be able to stand to a higher standard of scrutiny.
The accusations should be rigorously examined and if true, heads should roll. However, I will never join a lynch mob responding to dog whistles.

In the 80’s, teachers attended workshops, etc, for learning how to deal with “Crack babies”, who were about to enter school. As a hs teacher, I saw only one who I suspected was one. He had very poor eyesight, had his own personal computer, (at school and at home,) and a full time teacher aide, all provided by the state. He got a disability check too.
