David Hogg, student activist in the Florida school shooting, was also featured six months prior to the shooting in this news story, on a California beach.

Since the CA story appears imho to be a “nothingburger”, one has to wonder if it wasn’t arranged to get some publicity for him.

There is nothing particularly wrong or immoral about that; or about ambition. But I do find it unusual that he now shows up on the opposite side of the country at a school shooting.

Anyone other than me noticed how all the "students" and other criers for hire are all singing from the same hymn book (otherwise known as the Democrat party platform or the American left's policy on individual gun ownership)? Not a single voice of reason being heard - Lots of suppression in the media of course, but who coached all of these immature mindless twits to regurgitate their statist mishmash?

Not immoral, but ambition to ‘be on TV’ and get your face out there is, in my opinion, a problem. It’s not ambition to create something, start a business, become a professional musician or athlete, or a doctor, or anything that requires working hard and making yourself better. It’s ‘short cut’ ambition, at the expense of someone else (in this case the lifeguard). I do have a problem with that.

My fellow high school teachers in Texas had concealed carry permits and were authorized to carry on campus by our school board. The nearest law enforcement to our school was 40 miles away, so in rural areas of our country, it’s absolutely necessary to take care of those on campus.
