President Trump was supposed to be on this Amtrack train to Greenbriar, but for some reason he was not. The train was headed to the Greenbriar in Virginia for a retreat on Republican strategy. I find this very suspicious. The truck was sitting on the tracks, and now the driver is deceased. Most are tweeting they are ok, but there were some injured.
This happened outside Charlottesville, Virginia. The person in the truck has been pronounced dead. Senator Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) who was on the train assisted those injured. Two others from the truck were injured.

Why are we paying for such getaways? Taxpayers have paid for their offices in D.C., not in WV. Conduct business in D.C. for goodness sakes.

If ALL of them lived or had an address in the District they are supposed to represent we could go back to the ‘old way’ and meet in DC once or twice a year and have a nice Office in their HOME AREA and conduct business from there.
On special occasions meet in DC other than the 1 or 2 regularly scheduled meetings
BETTER yet, move the Capital to MIDDLE AMERICA (I was going to say Central America but that idea is just to good<: <: <:).
That way the DC area will have a nice road grid, a lot of leeches and Liberals and RINOs will leave the area.
AND with all activity in MID AMERICA, our ‘enemies’ will have to uprgrade their delivery systems.
Some may say security will not allow them to tele communicate BUT the current system does very well ‘hiding’ what they don’t really want seen and leaking whatever suits their fancy.

If you are expecting to do damage to passengers on a Train with a truck you better fill it with high explosives.... Barring an odd fall where the person hits their neck wrong, or falling on a pointed object, odds of seriously injuring anyone on the train seriously is near impossible... If your goal was to harm the passengers, its far easier to just put concrete or something else along the rails that will cause it to derail.

A fully loaded Semi is 40 ton with Zero Velocity vs a 550 Ton passenger train moving at anywhere from 35-65 MPH.....

2nd time in less than a year an incident happened that had the potential to take out gaggles of Repub congressman.

One story stated it was hauling garbage. Truck/trailers get stuck on railroad crossings all the time, landing gear without sufficient clearance get hooked onto the tracks. Probably the case here.
I believe the resort they are going is the Cold War emergency nuclear shelter for congress.
Or any number of moonbats. I think a lot of them are unstable. I find this suspicious as well.

True but why would one do this in a town or inhabited area, plenty of open spaces where one could disable the train and have a horde of gunmen in the nearby woods....
Could create a lot of havoc before anyone responded....
AND - if a ‘suicide squad’ they wouldn’t care who or how many responders.... At least that is the way ‘suicide squads’ used to act...today when one figures they are on a hunger strike because they only eat one meal a day...etc...etc...etc
